Inexpensive, but it works Perfect! No Modifications Required!
I Love it! I don't normally write reviews, but after installing this TV mount and reading some of the negative reviews, I figured I should write my review. First off, this TV bracket does come in 2 pieces, it fits in a box that is only 12.5 x 8 inches wide. So they obviously designed the mount to fit in a small package. Second, the directions were easy to follow and were very well written with pictures to follow along. All the hardware is individually separated and labeled, and directions tell you what screw to use with the corresponding label. To build this bracket you will need a phillips screwdriver & 13mm & 10mm deep sockets w/ ratchet. To mount it you need a 7/32 drill bit and drill, a pencil (to mark the wall), a measuring tape, a stud finder and you might want a longer level (one is supplied but its only 3 inches long). NOTE: THIS TV BRACKET MUST HIT 2 WALL STUDS, or be mounted into BRICK OR CEMENT WALL!! When you assemble the two halves for the bracket that attaches to the wall it bows a little, but when you mount it to the wall the pressure forces it to level out, no welding or other modifications required. It looks cheap because well, it is an inexpensive mount (i paid $27), but it works fine for what it is and it comes with all the hardware, even different sized screws to secure it to your TV. Its holding my 55" Vizio on the wall and it works fine for what it is. As far as the feel of the metal, it is not the strongest TV mount out there (I Personally wouldn't mount a $2000 TV to it) but again its priced cheap and works fine. Now the best part, as I hang up my black friday special TV, and open my black friday special PS3, I realize Sony got cheap and didn't add an HDMI cable, boom, low and behold this inexpensiveTV bracket comes with an HDMI cable. Cheap price, Good Directions, All the right hardware to mount my TV, and a HDMI Cable, You earned my 5 Stars!

Sturdy, Secure, and Easy to Install!
I needed a reliable wall mount for my new 75" TV, and after reading numerous reviews, I decided to go with the VideoSecu Tilt TV Wall Mount Bracket. I'm so glad I did! This mount is fantastic. First and foremost, the build quality is impressive. It's incredibly sturdy and feels very secure. I had no worries whatsoever about hanging my large TV on it. The included hardware is also high-quality, and I appreciated the variety of screws and spacers provided to accommodate different TV models. Installation was surprisingly easy. The instructions were clear and straightforward, and the included bubble level was a nice touch. I was able to mount the bracket to the wall and attach the TV by myself, although having a second person would have made it even faster. The tilt feature is perfect for reducing glare and improving viewing angles. It's smooth and easy to adjust, and it stays securely in place once set. I was also impressed with the low profile of the mount. It keeps my TV close to the wall, creating a clean and sleek look. For the price, this VideoSecu mount is an absolute steal. It's a well-built, reliable, and easy-to-install mount that provides excellent value. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy and secure TV wall mount. Five stars!

Easy to use!
Great product. Product ships in a small box compared to many mounts that accomodate large flat panel TV's. One of the best things about this mount is the design which allows it to work with small to large screen TV's. Install went without a hitch thanks to clearly written instructions. I was able to mount a 60 inch LED TV in about 30 minutes which is amazing considering I had no prior experience using this mount. The included HDMI cable and bubble level was an added bonus for such an inexpensive product. If you have installed many TV's before as I have, you will notice that this mount does not have quick release tabs found on expensive mounts. This is not a big deal at all, unless you are taking the TV off the wall and re-attaching it on a regular basis which is not the case for regular users (unless this product is used for trade shows or traveling exhibitions). There is a set-screw on each mounting arm that can be used to lock your TV to the wall for safety. You may need a long phillips screw driver to tighten the set screws when mounting a 60 inch or larger TV but I found them easy to access by slightly tilting the TV level or slightly up first. I am impressed by the design, cost, and function of this TV mount and I have installed many flat panel TV's. The VideoSecu Mounts Tilt mount is a great value and I plan on using it again!

VideoSecu Tilt Wall mount bracket - Review
My experience - 3.09.11 Installed it to the wall with no real issues. I used the level on the bracket AND my own after reading other reviews stating leveling issues and there was a SLIGHT difference. So, the wall bracket I had really had no leveling issues worth mentioning. Although, funny story, after I installed teh wall bracket I was attaching the monitor and didn't quite hook it right so I freaked out for half a second worrying that there was something wrong after all, then I realized i just had to set it in place and felt like an idiot. So... mine worked well and hopefully that will be everyone's experience. It needed to be assembled and I glanced at the instructions only once. I can't tell you how accurate they are due to not really needing them but the one portion I had a question about was easily answered. There's a ton of extra hardware in a vacuum sealed pack. It had my hardware for attaching the monitor to the bracket and the bracket to the wall. Take note that there can be many variations so don't be completely surprised if the hardware to mount your monitor isn't there. A simple trip to home depot should take care of that. You'll just need the thread type and length of bolt. I certainly didn't need to make the run though. The dry wall anchors worked well for me. I pre-drilled into the dry wall and then attached all 6 (4 top two bottom). Be sure to predrill a slightly smaller hole size and then gently tap in with a hammer. After anchoring I pulled on it with quite a bit more force than the monitor and it was firmly in place. The big knock on the product (or monitor) came when I attached the computer VGA cord. I'd purchased a VIZIO 32-Inch SV320XVT Full 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV and the VGA output was right on the bracket. I had to bend the cord to make it work. There are other connectors that would work better in this case (they have a 90 degree attachment). I fault more the monitor than the bracket for this issues. Wall mount brackets are pretty standard these days and monitor manufactures should know where to place their outputs so as not to be interfered with by brackets. The other issue I ran into is that the tilt has to be set BEFORE attaching the monitor because once in place you'll have a heck of a time loosening and turning the bracket. For the price I paid and the fact I consider the failings more the monitor, I'm very happy with this purchase. Pros: Cheap Durable tons of hardware Clean edge caps Easy to install Cons: Tilt has to be set before monitor is attached which means if you need to adjust it'll be a pain. (I hit the tilt I wanted on the first try)

All that sad; I made sure I did all kinds of ...
Ok, first a little background to give you an idea of who is reviewing this thing... What kind of consumer am I? I'm a techy-savvy thirty-something who researches his purchases to death, and had never mounted a TV before. I just got a new 55" LED TV and was TERRIFIED to get the wrong size mount, or a cheaply-made product, or mess anything up with the purchase and risk my new toy smashing to the floor in front of my fireplace. Not only that, but I only just purchased my home a few months ago and didn't want to completely destroy the wall over the mantle. All that sad; I made sure I did all kinds of research before settling on this product. Ok, on to the useful stuff... PROS: - Very easy to install - Good range of stud coverage for lag bolt holes - Seems to be a good sturdy mount and solid construction (safely supporting my 55" Sharp AQUOS) - Very easy to adjust TV angle and position after installation - Excellent low profile result (I was still able to setup Christmas decorations on the mantle with the TV in place!) - Excellent price - Free HDMI cable is always nice (even if not high end) CONS: - Lag bolts could be made of stronger material. If you have any trouble screwing them into the studs it can get hairy wondering if they'll break. I pre-drilled holes and everything, but wanted to be sure the bolts got a good bite into the wood for support, so there was still plenty of torque required and I was able to get them in without breaking one. However - it was tedious. Stronger bolts would've saved me some time and stress. NOTES: - *** BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND ONLY HAND-TIGHTEN THE BOLTS AND SCREWS!! *** Using an electric screwdriver or a drill on a low torque setting will almost definitely destroy the hardware, so only use a hand socket-driver and screwdriver. I am very pleased with this product, and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family who may need a mount. I hope this was helpful and everyone has a similar experience!

Solid bracket, solid value
I used this bracket to mount an LG 55LW5600 55-inch LED. Overall, I am extremely happy with this choice, and I'm honestly amazed at some of the prices that "BuyMore" type stores charge for similar brackets. The finish is good, and I was surprised that there are plastic trim "sides" for the bracket that help give it a finished look when you peek behind the tv. The bracket comes with several different sets of screws to mount to the back of your tv, and overall the hardware seemed fine. (I did make sure to drill ample-sized pilot holes for the lag screws that go into the wall studs, and used wax on the threads so that they didn't require excessive force to drive in.) Three tips to avoid surprises: First, although the bracket does allow the tv to tilt forward, this adjustment must be made before the tv is hung on the wall. Once it is hung, there isn't room to get your fingers in between the tv and wall to loosen/tighten the tilt mechanism clamps. This was fine for me, but if you are hoping to occasionally use the tilt to temporarily move the tv farther from the wall (to plug cables, etc.), that won't work. Second, you need to be careful that the tilt settings on the left and right sides of the bracket are adjusted exactly the same. In my installation, I didn't need any tilt, so I left the brackets in what seemed like the "no tilt" setting. When I did a test hang of the tv on the wall, I noticed a very slight twist in the tv, due to the one side having a few degrees different tilt. You could only see the twist when looking at the tv from the side. I don't think this would be good for the tv long-term. So, before I mounted the tv for the final time, I used a ruler and carefully compared the two tilt mechanisms to make sure they were set the same. Finally, you will really want to have an extra-long (12-inch or longer blade) #2 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws that secure the tv on the bracket once it's hung. During a test run, I tried to use a regular length screwdriver and could barely manage using my extreme fingertips. I picked up an extra-long screwdriver for the final mounting, and it was well worth it. None of these considerations detract at all from the fact that this bracket is a solid piece of hardware and is very fairly priced. I would definitely buy this again or recommend to others.

Great buy, especially for the price!! And the HDMI is good quality
I've been in the low voltage biz for over a decade and have installed many mounts in my day. Most of the good ones have been in the $200+ range and so that's what I'm used to dealing with when TVs were so much heavier and awkward. Today seems a lot simpler! I bought 4 of these and am happy with all of them. The only drawback I can say is that the wall plate is two pieces, and so attaching them is very easy but once the unit mounts to the wall there can be a slight variation in height, and that slight variation can be very small, but in turn can make the TV not level. But, I understand the concept of having this compact in a box so I'm not taking a star away. The level is cute but kind of useless. I ended up using my torpedo level and also my 3 foot level since there are 2 pieces to the mount. The HDMI cable is awesome and meets today's specs. Much higher quality than I was expecting, great value for this kit! **One additional drawback is that although it works for larger TVs, there is no vertical play on the brackets (the holes are maxed out), but again, not removing a star since many manufactures seem to have this problem. They worked on my 47's but the measurement of the bracket on the wall has to be vertically perfect, and I'm used to being able to adjust up/down if needed after mounting to the wall.

Excellent Wall Mount
This product is an excellent wall mount despite the price-point. In fact I was a bit confused when I got on Amazon a few days ago and saw all of these wall mounts for $100+ and then this thing. Now I'm even more confused. I don't know what you could get for an extra hundred bucks that this thing doesn't have. It's made of solid steel with an accurate embedded level. It comes with another level to confirm all measurements. Moreover the package includes every seeming possibility of screw for various television mounts. In fact when I first opened the box and saw all the different packets of screws I momentarily freaked out, thinking oh man what have I gotten myself into, what's with all of these screws. But then realized that they give you all of the additional screws to make sure you have the right one for your particular set. I put up a 37" Philips HD TV on my wall in an apartment. The longest part of the install was finding the studs and making the measurement to ensure my set would be positioned correctly, about 48" off of the ground at center, and straight. But once I made all the marks, the actual assembly of the mount and installation of the hardware too me about 30minutes, using just a drill and a channel lock (didn't have my socket set handy, but it would help as the mount is secured to the wall with four hefty lag bolts). After the back of the mount was on the wall, I hung on it to make sure it was solid. I'm about 200 lbs, I put my fingers over the top lip and hung down with most of my weight. The thing didn't budge. I then put the brackets on the TV, took about 2min for that, and then popped the TV onto the wall. The TV looks awesome. Can't see the mount at all, not from the sides or the bottom. So easy to mount and super solid. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
