Great!! 😀
😍Love the shoes. I would just recommend to get a bigger size. It runs small. But everything else perfect shoes very comfortable.

Size up for All Weather Lone Peaks
I take a 6.5 in the regular Lone Peaks, but have to size up to size 7 in the all weather version. They look the same from the outside, but the all weather version has a waterproof inner liner that is quite thick. I am absolutely in love with Altras. They are so light and so comfortable. I live in Birkenstocks so I REALLY love the zero drop! The heels in Merrells and Keens feel unnaturally high to me. The negative reviews for Altras are most often from people who do not like zero drop shoes, so be aware of that if you are considering Altras. I cannot speak to durability, which seems to be the other primary concern, but the materials are quite light and I would not expect them to be able to withstand really punishing treatment for very long. But I think they will be perfect for long, rocky, muddy, hilly but relatively unchallenging walks through the English and Irish countryside.

They are great shoes, but I hate all the colors they come in
I have foot problems and these really help, however they are just so darn ugly I don’t want to wear them. Which, honestly, will keep them strictly as a trail/ workout shoe, so maybe they are ugly with intent. I don’t know. I’ve met very few women that want to wear the colors these come in. How about some decent natural or neutral colors? Ones that match the mud and dust the trail provides would be nice. So, five hundred stars for the function, none for color.

Order a size bigger
These are very comfortable shoes except for the tighter fit. Suggest ordering a half size up.

Great shoe!
I love the room in the toe and the grip for hiking. The price is a little high.

Most comfortable hiking shoe
I just started using these over the past month, so can't speak to longevity of the produce, but so far these are the most comfortable hiking or trail running shoes I've ever worn. I should say that I don't run in them, but only use them for hiking. The insole is nicely cushioned which is what I needed because of an injury to my foot. The toe box is wide, as this is one of the features of Altras, to allow your foot to spread naturally in the shoe as if walking barefoot. I also like the zero drop. It works well for me. I also like that the outsoles are not highly cushioned or higher profile, as I don't want that when hiking... so I don't catch an edge or roll an ankle. I'm looking forward to seeing how these hold up over time and plan to compare them to regular Lone Peaks that I bought as well (not All-WTHR).

Comfortable as my old Lone Peaks but Shockingly Slippery
I previously had the 3.5's and they remain my favorite hiking shoes of all time (except that they are pink). I finally splurged on these and went out on the same trails I always do. I was in for a rude awakening! They are extremely slippery on wet leaves and especially wet wooden bridges. I don't understand why they would change the soles like that. I'll still wear them but with caution. I'll bring my old ugly pink 3.5's back out for rainy days.

Loved but didn't last
I bought these shoes in January 2023 and it is now May and the already have holes and are wearing quickly. Shoe is the perfect fit for me, I absolutely love these shoes, so much I bought a second pair not too long after my first purchase. Even though I do love these shoes, I thought I would add this note, so you know what you are buying.

Great room around toes
Not as comfy as the other altra trainers but anything weather proof is going to be a bit stiffer. As always I find altra more comfortable than any other brands

Not very durable
I like Altra Lone Peak very much. They are very comfortable, they have enough space for the toes, the soles are great in the terrain. The eVent waterproof shell works well in a little bit humid environment (light rain, dew). They are not enough breathable in the summer but during spring and autumn they are perfect. If they get wet they become dry very quickly. The only thing I can complain about is a very low durability of the outer fabric. After half a year of not very intense usage I found holes in the spot where a big toe is bent. And that is why they get wet fastly in this spot. That is why I want to claim for replacement or refund.
