I recently installed the Lil Clucker Blue Large Automatic Chicken Waterer Cups on a 5-gallon bucket waterer for my chickens, and they work great! These cups provide a constant supply of clean drinking water, making it super convenient to keep my flock hydrated. The cups are almost 3 inches in diameter, allowing my chickens to dip their wattles and ducks to submerge their beaks easily. They seem to love it! Installation was straightforward—just used a 3/8" drill bit to create holes in the bucket. The cups can also be installed with a 5/16ID+7/16OD tube, adding flexibility to the setup. This waterer system is ideal for a low-pressure setup, and you can attach it directly to a bucket or use a pressure regulator or float valve. It's superior to the chicken nipple waterers I’ve used before, thanks to the larger bowl size that automatically refills. Overall, the Lil Clucker waterer cups have been a fantastic addition to my chicken coop. They are easy to clean, install, and provide a reliable water source for my birds. Works well

After using dozens of poultry waterers, each with their own pluses and minuses, I tried these. I am so glad I did. They have all the pluses of other waterers and none of the minuses. They hold a bountiful supply of water, Way more than other cups and no silly middle thingy the chickens have to push to get it. Much easier to clean than the ones with center thingys too. No guessing if the chicken is actually getting water like from the nipples at all let alone adequately, and no fuss no muss cleaning and refilling. Water is the single most important thing our chickens, animals and even us humans need to survive and thrive and these really cover the bases. Good for the chickens, and good for the caretaker. Super easy to install into any bucket, they do not leak, and the instructions are very clear and simple. BTW if you are using the TSC clear bucket with the little cups with the yellow center, you can just unscrew them and screw these right in their place no drilling or anything. I can't say enough how much I like these. My experimenting is over.

Super easy to install the cups in a 5 gallon bucket. Took me longer to find the right size drill bit than actually installing the cups. The order came with five cups. I installed four and kept the last one in reserve in case I need to replace one. Chickens took to it right away. I've only had two issues. Both were User Error. First: I was using this inside the house in the brooder to get the chicks used to it before moving everyone and everything to the coop. Not so easy to clean the cups indoors since they keep refilling. Didn't completely think that one through. Second: One of the cups became loose one day and created a slow leak. (I have been putting bottles of frozen water into the bucket to keep the water cool and probably knocked it loose during that process.) I didn't discover it until the next day and by that time the bucket was completely empty. It was +90 degrees that day. Tightened it up, refilled the bucket, and everything was fine (including the chickens). I, however, am still suffering mental anguish for not paying more attention. Lesson learned.

The pros are they're easy to install and straight forward for chickens. My chickens take in more water with pooled water like this rather than drip systems. However, these get dirty quickly, freeze easily, and if a chicken steps on it, they can turn the cup over which causes all the water to leak out of the bucket. This makes it a good system for people who see their chickens daily, but not a good choice if you won't see them for a while.

Love, love, love these. Water stays clean and lasts much longer than the chinzy plastic waterers that cost alot more! With the 5 cups I bought, I made 2 stations, one for the day and one for the kennel the hens are locked in at night. Hardest thing was finding a 3/8 " drill bit!

I am truly happy, and surprised at how great these are (so far). I have gone through SO many watering systems that either leaked, or the chickens couldn't figure out how to operate (ie: push down on the little bone shaped yellow lever in the cup). These are simple. Water flows into cup, then the weight of the water closes the valve (at about 1/2 to 3/4 way full, but the cups are pretty big). Chickens drink, reducing the weight, cup rises, opens valve, more water flows in, cup lowers & valve turns off. Not sure what I will do in winter, but spring & especially in the hot summer was a huge problem. They are a bit tougher to clean, but I just gently hold the cups, and wipe with a cloth. Note: I was able to yank out some of the nipples from my old type waterers, and retro fit these. Also retro fitted my red cups, with yellow bone levers. Just be sure to push/screw the white plastic washer on before you push the cup on to the waterer. It works great, IF you follow instructions. It will leak if the white plastic washer is not on, or in wrong place. So happy with these. Fingers crossed for the long term. Would definitely recommend!

Funciona bastante bien, viene con una broca de la medida exacta de la entrada de los bebederos,los cuales instale en un bote de20 litros solo hay que lijar o cortar las rebabas. Sirve para darles medicamento y que ni ensucien tanto el agua, siempre que el recipiente sea tapado

These are great. Feeding chickens everyday sucks but these worked well, I used them in a large garbage bin so at least I didn’t have to water the dang birds for weeks.

I bought these water cups for the baby chicks hatched by three mothers. Normally I would put down shallow dishes that the chicks could drink from but not deep enough that they could drown. Problem is the water gets quickly soiled being so close the ground. Setting up three buckets with these cups was a breeze and the babies began drinking from them immediately. Next thing, the mothers were using them also, rather than their usual trough. The system works perfectly and I am very satisfied. I should mention that the size of these cups is just right. There are smaller ones on the market but I feel they would be too small, even for baby chicks.
