I'm trying to reduce the amount of plastic in my life, and toothpaste is my latest project. Of the products I've tried, the GloBoid tablets seem to be the best fit for me.-contains fluoride-packaging is not plastic, but cardboard. There are a couple of small desiccant packages inside, so I'm not sure how that affects the overall sustainability factor.-once you chew the tablet and start brushing, it foams up quite a bit, which I consider a plus.-my mouth feels clean and just slightly minty after brushing.-when I start chewing, there seems to be a kind of salty (?) flavor...odd but not horrible.In spite of that odd flavor, I think this will end up being my choice when I need more tablets.

I ordered these even though there were no reviews for them. I have tried 3 different kinds of toothpaste tablets with fluoride. There were things I didn't like about all three. These weren't perfect either. These tablets get 4 stars because, even though they claim to have natural mint flavoring, it tastes like no mint I've ever eaten. If you, like me, want a good menthol-y peppermint or spearmint blast of flavor, you won't get it here. The flavor is not bad, it's just not what I want. They are not too hard and chew up easily, foam a little so you feel like the paste is spreading around, and the price is right. So I'm likely to re-order until I find my holy grail of toothpaste tablets. Oh, and also, WHY WHY WHY can we not get a choice of tablets with fluoride made in USA? These come from the UK. One of the other 3 I tried is made in the US, but they come only in 60-tablet glass jars with a plastic lid and no refill pack is available, so you have to order jar after jar. And they are expensive. Otherwise I loved them. I complained to the company. Those are the only ones with fluoride made in US I've found.

The only downside on this one is that it is super foamy. Like rabid dog foamy. But I can live with that, because I've been searching for a fluoride tablet that tastes minty. I loved the Hello ones, but no fluoride! These are almost as minty, with no aftertaste. I'm calling it a win.

I really wanted these to be better. They do leave my teeth feeling clean, but they don't leave my mouth with that minty fresh feeling I get from toothpaste. The flavor has too much of an artificial sweetener flavor and not nearly enough mint. I am left wanting to rinse my mouth a bunch of times to get the aftertaste out of my mouth after using a tablet. I also found that my teeth were more sensitive to hot and cold after a week of using these tablets. I suspect that is because my normal toothpaste has some way of reducing sensitivity that these tablets lack. So, I'll use them when I travel if the trip is not more than a couple of days, but I won't reorder once they run out.

Got these to avoid having to travel with a tube if toothpaste. No complaints about it seems to be comparable to other toothpaste but no chance of it exploding in bags or making other messes.
