It worked for a while using a 3.3V power supply, but when I tried 5V, it was blown out.

I did not attempt to return the device, because I was delayed 3 months by storm ripping the roof off of my cousin's house.

Bought two of these, none of them, the wiring was fine. I soldered them very carefully, and they still won’t work. They just heat up.

I ordered this and received the MAX30100. I was fully expecting the MAX30102 as stated in the product description. I will probably return this item. Also, packaging was open on the heat sealed end and item dropped out without tearing open the package.
