Tuggo, (Tug-o-war) Adjustable Weighted Exercise Dog Toy 10in ball with 4ft Rope (Red)

This is the best toy ever for my amstaff. The ball itself is very durable. It wears him out and he loves it. (And I love it!) We have had this toy for a few months, I have not noticed any aggressive behavior since using the toy. We dont play tug o war with him though. I honestly don't believe this type of play "causes" aggression especially in a controlled environment. To be quite honest, the rope is usless. He shredded it within a day. We ended up buying new cotton blend rope from walmart in the home section which is holding up nicely. If you do this make sure the rope isn't treated with anything toxic and make sure it wont cut your dog's mouth The other issue is the ball does lose water quickly for my taste but I think it is kinda expected when sitting outside ALL day. So I filled it with aquarium gravel to a weight I know he can handle. I can still fill it with water to make it heavier. Again if you fill this with sand etc. Make sure your dog can handle it. I plan on buying another for him for Christmas so he has different weights. Anytime it is heavier or ligher he thinks its the best thing since sliced bread.

My dog didn't like this toy, but that's an individual preference thing and probably not a fault of the toy. It should probably only be used outside. It's very heavy when full and it leaked a little, which is not something you want going on inside your house, especially not on a wood floor. I passed the toy along to my sister who lives in another state. She has a pair of rotties and I'll update once I get some feedback from her about her dogs' reaction to this toy.

This has become my German Shepherd's favorite toy.. With other toys, buckets ,garbage cans kong ball etc.,he stops playing and starts to chew the toy... This ball he cannot chew so he keeps playing and chasing it...If I have to give a negative, id say the plastic could be a little thicker... I was kicking the ball with him in the cold n i kicked a crack in it. But the water hardly leaks from it and i wont be kicking it anymore.... Great toy!

The puppy loves this toy. He did chew the rope though but we just bought more rope and made another one for the ball. Its a good toy for the price.

This toy is a great concept and the ball looks like it will be very durable; however, it only took my Boxer/German-Shepherd mix about 10 minutes to destroy the rope. It looks like it would be easy to thread another one through it, but the opening isn't large enough for a thick, strong rope. I will say that he loved playing with it for the few minutes before he destroyed the rope!

My dogs are pretty small - all under 35 pounds - and just never got into this toy. However, I have two neighbors who keep their dogs outside all the time - a Rottweiler and a large Pit Bull. I'll give the toy to one of them and come back and do another review.

My dogs hold the same end as the rope slides to one end. Need to make the rope hold so each dog can grab an end.

I've gone thru 3 of these balls with my Lab. The rope either get pulled thru or the center plastic tube get ripped out.
