Described as Dark Chocolate box. Clearly they are mostly milk chocolate. Gift for milk intolerant person so misleading description poses a serious problem

Highly enjoyable gift for brother.

This is a nice chocolate selection box, it tasted pleasant and I managed to happily eat my way through the whole tin in around an hour (Please don’t judge!), but originally priced at £24.99, I’m unable to realistically give it any more than a 2 Star rating, even now that it’s down to £21.99, it still struggles to rise up to the money.There’s also the issue of where it was made, no where on the tin that I received that I could find any information as to what the country of origin is (Not in English anyway), although all indications (Website information and contact numbers) are leading me to believe that it’s a Turkish product, but a clear, straight forward ‘Made in this country’ would’ve been appreciated.Overall: Despite enjoying it, I’m sorry to say that Thorntons, Lindt, or even other, less premium brands will give you much better value for money.

These are lovely chocolates with 5 each of 5 different flavours - all 5 varieties are rich, silky smooth and lovely to eat. The box has wide appeal as the selection hits the spot by steering well clear of some of the types of chocolate that frequently get left behind in boxes in our house (e.g. Turkish delight, cherry, boozy fillings etc.). The product is beautifully presented in a nice tin that also protects the chocolates. However, the price has to be taken into account and 25 chocolates for around £25 (so £1 per chocolate) is very hard to justify for a product that is clearly high quality and lovely but, being honest, not mind-blowingly amazing. That said, these would make a lovely gift and/or a treat.

The list price of £22 and the quality of the outer tin set my expectations high. Unfortunately they had a long way to fall once the tin was opened. The chocolates themselves were smooth and, particularly the coffee one, strongly flavoured. The texture had that additional buttery texture that you find in chocolates that don't use as much added oil as a lot of UK chocolates, and it was really pleasant. However, the disappointment starts as soon as the lid is lifted because the the chocolates are only 1 tray deep, despite the size of the tin so for the money it's simply poor value as the chocolate are not that exquisite or rarefied, just 'good'. The plastic lining tray is super cheap, thin and brittle and has shattered in one corner, spreading small particles of plastic across all the chocolates which became stuck in the top surface.
