Study MIDI connectivity before trying to set it up
Everything seems to work perfectly between a launchpad pro Mk3 and this device, I was able to connect up to 4 synths, drumbrute, minibrute 2S, a CAT and a CRAVE, I know this device can connect up to 6 synths but I couldn't find a way to do it from the launchpad pro Mk3 bought here in Amazon, probably I need to study more the launchpad to be able to connect a fifth synth if the launchpad is able to, I recommend to check if the controller you are using is able to output the ones this device has, very solid build up and no regrets at this point!...a killer device for sure!!

Solid. Feels well built. I run several midi channels from Ableton Live, out of my interface into this, and then split out to synths, drum machines, guitar pedals, etc. I have had no issues and use it almost daily.

Had a little trouble getting midi cable plugged in. My metal cable was extremely tight on the midi in port.

Excellent MIDI-Thru device for the price
Very good, sturdy feeling piece of hardware that does exactly what it's supposed to. Routed my Digitakt into MIDI In port and all my external synths into MIDI Thru - all hardware is in sync and playing just fine.Bonus is that if you're using a Digitakt it doesn't require the external USB power cable - just have it running into MIDI In and you're good

Clean sounds signals (synth to synth to audio interface)
Powered so less distoration in the midi line (s). Clean conection between synth (s) to audio interface. Plus 6 midi thru. Excellent! Recommend Roland midi cables too. Using keystep pro with deepmind 12, prophet 6, microfreak, drumbrute, & hydrasynth. Focusrite 3 gen 18i20. All purchased here on amazon!

Yes, it works for my dawless setup
There not much to say about the features: 1 midi in --> 6 midi thru, and It does the job.There is an usb socket on the unit, but don't get excited by it: this is just receive power, it is not supposed toconvey midi messages.The product works for me and it is exactly what I needed
