Ford F150 Expedition Edge Fusion 12V Volt Console Power Outlet Cover Cap OEM NEW BB5Z-19A487-BA

Finally got around to changing this on my 2014 Explorer Sport. Perfect fit for the 2nd row 12v port that I broke by leaving the lid open while pulling a bag out and catching it. Changing it was not exactly easy, took about 10 minutes of being careful to get it out and less then a minute to put in. Unlike some other OEM plastic parts from Ford, this looked exactly like original.

I am sure i'll be taking a small stock of these in the future because my little kiddos will kick them off. I have only owned my 2019 Ford f-150 for about a month and already had to replace the 12-volt Cap on the rear console of my pickup. I have found two ways to install this and it's hard to find the correct video online. #1 You could go through your console and remove several parts to get to the 12 volt Cover which in my eyes is a waste of time. #2 (Which I did) I took two tiny flat head screw drivers and push the tabs within the 12 volt itself. One has to push really hard to bust or push the taps on the old cover frame. Once this is completed then you would just simply use the flat heads to work the 12 volt adapter out of the frame. Once it's pulled out unplug it, pull the old plug cover off and install the new cover. Just make sure you place it the same direction as you installed it and it should go in with ease. If forever reason it pushes in and a tad loose I just added a tad bit of super glue to keep it firmly in place. It's an OEM product and took me 10 minutes to replace.

This fit as a replacement in our 2014 Explorer when one of the kids kicked the lid off of ours by accident. The old one pulls out pretty easily, but it is extremely difficult to separate the old plastic piece from the 12v plug itself. I basically had to break it loose to be able to get this piece on there. Once I removed that, this replacement piece just slid right on. Then, just plug outlet back in and push this into place. I had to give it one firm whack to get it seated in the console, but all looks good now and feels firm. Overall, this worked like a charm.
