These cable cutters are made for cutting communication cables. You need a different kind of cutter. You’d wreck it cutting something like that

That is a very interesting question, unfortunately I have no answer. Being stainless is a VERY hard metal. As is steel, I would assume that it may dull or dent the cutting edges. A call to Klein Tools may get you and more informed answer. Sorry!
