Casdon Morphy Richards Iron Toy

We picked up an old wooden doll crib, high chair, and ironing board from an auction for our girls. Right away, our oldest said I am going to need an iron. So, for Christmas decided it would be in with her gifts. This iron is super realistic. It has all the buttons a normal iron would have and a nice sleek design. It is small and perfect for little handles. It does not feel cheaply made at all. I felt like the price was very reasonable. I was looking for something that resembled a real iron but I did not want something that water could be put into. We just never have luck with those type of toys and water ends up everywhere. I am happy with this purchase.

This iron is the perfect size - I purchased it to replace one that was missing on a "little Tikes" kitchen/laundry play set I bought slightly used. It fits on the ironing board perfectly, even fits in the slot made especially for the toy iron. My only concern is that this iron is SO absolutely realistic (except for the smaller size) that I worry my child may confuse it with the real thing! But I think as long as you teach your children the difference between using a toy and a real iron, it'll be okay. =o) I purchased all of this stuff for my 2 year old son, and he enjoys pretending to iron daddy's clothes (which is funny because he's never seen me actually iron clothes!). A great little toy for pretend play.

This iron is really cute and looks very realistic, except for the size. The dimensions of this toy are not as listed (10x7.5x17), I was expecting something larger but it's only about 7 inches tall and about 3 inches wide. I'm keeping it because it will serve it's purpose and the price is great, I just felt mislead by the stated dimensions and probably wouldn't have gone with this one had I known.

Withstanding my four year old son, three year old and two year old nieces for almost a year now. Seen this thing fly across the room. It is ADORABLE and very well built. Be mindful, it is small. If you're expecting it to mimic a life size iron, it wont. But it's great for little hands. It looks just like our real one so they LOVE it. Worth every penny.

The iron was cute, but smaller than i expected. It would probably be okay for a child. I work in a nursing home. I have a dementia patient who likes to smooth wrinkles out of the table cloth. Thought it would bring her a little happiness without the weight of a real iron. It will be too small for her hand to fit around the handle. I'll donate it to a child and check into maybe a travel iron and cut off the cord.

We got this for our 3 and 4 year old daughters for christmas and they loved them. It looks so real that when my 3 year old opened it she came and brought it to me and said that it was mine! Great toy for the price. The only thing is that it says its got a soft grip and it doesn't, the whole thing is plastic but not a problem with the girls!!

What you see is what you get. No sound effects or lights. Pretty realistic looking but boring toy.

I like how it’s not just a toy but also a replica. My mom asked me to order it in an effort to detour my niece’s interest in her own real iron and she loves it. It looks so much like a real iron and is the perfect size for small hands.

I love it. Its just like the real thing and it was really cheap! My 2.5 yr old daughter has had a ball ironing with this. I bought a cheap ironing board-thing for sleeves - not sure what they're called - and she thinks this is her ironing board. I wish my own iron was as light to use as this though. Highly recommend it. She's had it 7 months and it hasn't been battered or damaged despite her attempts!
