PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S – Seafoam Fade (Amazon Exclusive)

Bought this for my 8 year old daughter. Absolutely brilliant. She chose it herself, absolutely loved it. The colours are beautiful, the controller itself is extremely easy to use. Very sensitive to the users movements, which according to my daughter has improved her gameplay. She uses her headset with it and it fits perfectly. I’d definitely recommend these to anyone! It’s solved no end of tantrums and fights as it doesn’t keep disconnecting, I just wish I’d bought it sooner!

This review is being told from my sons experience as he's into gaming My son is a young adult on the autism spectrum and he has loved gaming ever since he was very small. He wanted to get a controller which was wired as it has hardly any input delay compared to a wireless one. Also he didn't like the idea of charging his xbox battery pack as he felt It was a waste of energy But he loves the controller He finds it really comfy for his hands likes the size He loves the wide range of colour options avaliable and he also can play call of duty with ease without any input delay from the controller He gives it a 5 star review

This is the 2nd (or 3rd if you count the replacement) PowerA controller I've had, they're really great, the programmable buttons are AMAZING but with both controllers the analogue stick did eventually start to drift. The first one I had around 2020 it was the left, the second one which was in january lasted just over a month before the right stick was drifting. PowerA have sent a replacement, it's been a few weeks and it seems fine. I'd probably recommend an official Xbox controller over this to be honest, I really do hope it was just a bad batch and this one lasts. EDIT for anyone still getting stick drift I found a way to fix it very easily, at least for me. If you unscrew the back of the controller and blow hard underneath the analogue that is drifting you can clear away dirt / hair that may have gotten through, this worked for me.

Well made wired xbox style controller at a reasonable price... works well... feels good... the triggers are very responsive (sometimes too much for me as I randomly hit them without intending too)

The right thumbstick has broken after only a few uses. Returned that one to get another and the same has happened again. All my ps5 controllers work fine for months and months my old controller fine but this one is poorly and cheaply made and is being charged at a ridiculous price given the quality. I’m a normal Amazon user like you trust me avoid this controller and buy from a different brand/company

This was a replacement for another power a controller that failed after 3 months (brought elsewhere and a different design) this has lasted a lot longer already and very reliable. As a gamer frequent use (mainly daily) of mashing the button and grinding the thumbs sticks I can say that this had endured all the punishment of constant gaming. No stick drag or button sticking so far. It has a nice feel in the controller (it’s plastic so not sure what some people expect to feel for the price) the wire can be disconnected from the controller at the top through use of a usb b that clips into place so easy to store after use without the hassle of wires all over the place. Does what it is meant to do Update: got stuck drag about 7 months after purchase but I’m not faulting the product as high usage of controller not for extreme gamers

Brilliant controller. Love the green and blue mix. Light in your hands and seems to be the correct size (as sometimes you get controllers which are slightly smaller). However that being said I wish I had more cord for a further reach. And there has been at least 2 occasions were it stopped responding but unplugged and left alone for a few moments, it started to work again. Definitely a purchase I would highly recommend.

My son used this for 2 months and has broken on the wire and on the controls. Not a great must have buy.
