Good and not so good
I’ve been looking for a while to find a good instant oatmeal that wasn’t overdone on the sugar. I was looking for something with apple and nuts and cinnamon. This was a great find.It doesn’t have much sugar at all. The “not so good” is there seems to be way too much cinnamon for me.Having too much cinnamon, gave me an idea about making cinnamon rolls using it for the filling. I made them this morning and they just turned out wonderful. My wife suggested I smear them with powdered sugar and butter frosting but I told her they were pretty great without it. I added a little brown sugar, butter, and pecans to my rolls. I sprinkled a little water on them before I rolled them to make sure they weren’t too dry because I know the oats soak up the moisture. They turned out magnificsooo! If Elizabeth could reduce the amount of cinnamon in the oatmeal, It would sure become my favorite by far!

Another great oatmeal via Amazon
One of the best oatmeal I have ever tried and will continue to. Lots of healthy fiber and delicious flavor with all of the best ingredients.Very quick to make on a daily basis. Priced very well on Amazon and arrived fast and fresh (dated expiration on packages are well in advance).

Tastes Great (If You Sweeten It)
TBH I bought this because I'm kinda overweight and want to eat healthier, but I'm depressed and just... skip meals because cooking feels weirdly impossible right now. I love oatmeal and the 'pre-mixed, just add water and pop it in the microwave' stuff is way easier than getting quick-cooking oats and adding in all the toppings afterwards, and I figured, okay, the Quakers packets are god awful for you but this might be a good workaround. And it is for sure, just with a bit of a setback.Straight out of the package it tastes pretty bland. Not necessarily bad, and there's definitely lots of apple bits and nuts and cinnamon so the flavor is nice (and it's convenient, like I said, I don't have the energy to chop up nuts and apples myself), but I'm weening myself off of processed sugar and prefer things sweeter than I should, which means this didn't really hit the spot until I tossed in some monk fruit. After that it does remind me a lot of the Quakers stuff, just less fake-tasting and with the added bonus of not making my teeth ache because it's so sugary.

Good stuff
I love this stuff and I hope Amazon gets it back in stock for sale directly at their reasonable price. I went to buy it today and it's currently only available though sketchy looking third party sellers with low ratings and price gouging.UPDATE: I contacted Purely Elizabeth. They have discontinued the bags of this product. It is only available in the cups now. Every other cereal product they sell still comes in bags but not this one for some strange reason. This makes me sad.

Perfect oatmeal for me!
I love that this original oatmeal has no added sugar or junk. I mix a scoop of plant protein powder with it every morning for breakfast and it makes a wonderful well-rounded meal. The addition of seeds gives it a nice bite also. I also appreciate that it is organic and gluten free. Seems a bit expensive, but it is difficult to find ready made foods without junk!

Why Bother?
It's slightly dressed up oatmeal. Meh. I don't think it's worth the $ to rebrand oatmeal and flax. Nothing wrong with the product, but in my universe not worth the expense.
