This is a great little timer. I'm pleased to have found a timer that goes more than 99 minutes, like most. This one goes up to 99 hours. Perfect when I have a long baking time recipe in my oven. It is small, which is a perfect size, and has great features. The alarm when the time is up is loud enough and beeps long enough to get my attention. It's sleek appearance appeals to the eye. It is very easy to operate, buttons work well. It counts up or counts down. And I can reset it to time again for the same time as the last set time stays on the timer until I reset it.

Why is it so hard to find a good timer? I have tried several, and they keep falling short. Some have too many features, making them complicated to use. Some have strange ways of inputting the time, and most have anemic beepers and weak magnets. Many won't time over an hour. I just got a 2-pack of his one for $17 with coupon. It has super simple number buttons to just type in the time. It beeps loud enough to hear a few rooms away, without screeching at you when nearby. Easy enough to use except in direct sunlight.... not really an issue. This one also had marginal magnets. I may try trimming the plastic lip from around them so they contact the surface instead of being held off a bit. But it has a stand so you can place it upright on a table, and a hanger clip if you want to hang it on a nail. You can set it for 99 hours, way more than enough. If this thing holds up in the long run, and the beeper doesn't fade when the battery gets low, it is a winner! I'll update if it disappoints me.

Three things I want in a timer: 1. Easy to use (my old one could only be set in one minute increments - no 30 second timing!) 2. Handy (locating it anywhere you want for both storage and use) 3. Loud enough to hear from adjacent rooms This timer comes close to meeting all three. You can set it with precision, easily (entering hours, minutes, and seconds). It has a nice base which flips out for countertop placement. It's plenty loud, and has an escalating frequency alarm to alert you. Why not five stars? Well, it has two magnets on the back so it will stick to the refrigerator -- or so it should. Problem is, they've recessed the magnets into the back of the timer. That prevents the magnets from scratching the fridge, but since they are not very strong magnets, the weight of the timer causes it to slide down the side of the fridge. There's no way to stick the timer to a vertical metal surface, since the weak magnets are not up to the task . . . Too bad -- this could be an outstanding timer for normal, everyday use!

Nice timer that works as advertised. It is simple to use, just type in the time with the number keypad and hit start. You can pause it if you need to and restart where you left off. Easy and simple to use. Runs on standard AAA battery. Has a little hinged tab that can be used to hang it on a peg or nail, and also has a magnet to attach it to something metal. I use it for timing 10 meter air pistol 60 round qualification rounds. The little tab angles the timer perfect on my table. This is a good choice especially if you need a timer that can countdown over long time periods.

Well designed, sturdy build, muli-featured. No whimpy buttons! Positive push and activation. Easy to read. Replaces small POS found on web site. Does every right that the other had wrong. Good volume even when placed flat on the counter. Price is right.

After OXO retired their Good Grips digital kitchen timer with the numerical keypad, I struggled to find a worthy replacement with the same features. I think I finally found it! You can use the numerical keypad to type in the exact time you want or use the stopwatch feature. It’s also magnetic, so you can attach it to the fridge, or use the little flip-out stand to keep it upright on the counter or desk. Exactly what I was looking for!

Love this timer so much I have purchased at least 4 (use in multiple locations because they are so handy). The benefits are many - easy to read, easy to set and reset, and, the thing that sets this apart from other timers is you can set for up to 99 hours (we now use it in lieu of an alarm clock many times). The volume is loud, however, normally not a problem. When we do want a bit quieter, we have found by putting a small square of post it note paper over the microphone, it reduces the volume, while still being fully audible. Can stand up, use the magnet, or there is a loop if you want to hang the timer instead.

These have been used by everyone in our household, daily, for months. The only thing that happened is that on one of them, the battery spring got a little depressed so the battery was not making perfect contact. I fixed that and it works fine. Otherwise, great, reliable timers.

This is a great timer. You just put the time in instead of having to press the button for every min. or hour. nice loud sound so you can here it in another room and not have to pack it around with you. Good price.

I find myself relying on this timer more and more. Easy to use and very helpful.

Timer is solid and easy to use. AAA batteries make it lasting for long time on one set, signal is quite loud, number pad makes it very easy to set up, display big enough. Magnet helps to keep it handy.

Loud beep, useful silent option with just the flashing light indicator, numbers for quick set, count-up and count-down, hours:minutes:seconds, handy stand, magnets, and hole for hanging. All good. Unfortunately Amazon sent me only one of the two timers that I ordered, but they fixed it with a credit.

Exactly as described and I would buy this item again.
