Perfect fit
Works great! Mounted right up to my Yakima round bars.

Do not purchase this item
These bracket mounts do not come with the bracket. They also do not fit in the bracket that comes with your Batwing. I had to drill the holes larger in order for them to fit. Using the brackets that come with your Batwing leaves a gap between your vehicle/trailer when mounted to a Yakima roof rack (can't speak for Thule). There was a bracket that seems to be the older version(?) that would fit perfectly, but it can't be found anywhere for purchase. I've reached out to Rhino multiple times and they are more useless than the random searches across the web.I've attached a picture of the needed bracket and the one supplied. Don't waste your money on these! They are over priced and will NOT work with your roof rack.

Works great was able to install my Foxwing awning (that I purchased else where) on my round yakima roof rack bars. This is a much needed kit if you have Yakima or Thule bars on your roof rack. The awning only comes with the hardware to mount it to Rhino Rack roof racks.

Didn't fit - not for "square" bars
The headline for this item says universal fit kit, in the description it does list some specific brands - for round or square bars. I have another brand of bars which I did measure the width and found specs for this product and the bars would fit....or so I thought. The bars do fit width wise, but they do not fit the height because my square bars are actually square. After researching I have found that thule square bars are rectangle- so this universal fit kit for square bars is actually made for rectangle bars. Maybe I will save someone else the hassle that I have went through. Very disappointing because I bought the awning, racks and fit kit all together. I didn't try to install the awning until I had already drilled the holes and installed the roof rack...I tested the fittings first and they were wide enough etc- just again did not account it was made for a rectangle bar. Now I have the roof racks and an awning and trying to fabricate some way to attach it. Please list the specifications so people can actually research what they are buying. Some parts are plastic and when I did try to install the wrench chewed them up. I was actually able to finally get the nuts on the u-bolt but they won't thread all the way and I do not feel it is safe

You need this if you have round Yakima bars
For my birthday my wife gave me the Rhino Rack Left Hand Driver's Side Foxwing Awning for use on my Jeep. The awning comes only with hardware to attach the awning to Rhino Rack's own cross-bars. This kit contains the hardware needed to attach the awning to either round Yakima bars or square Thule bars. I have Yakima bars and it works fine. The package included instructions and in a few minutes I had the awning attached to my Jeep.Edit 10/3/2105 I've added some pictures. The first shows what comes in the package: 2 U-bolts, washers, nuts and two sets of adaptors, one set for square bars and one set for round bars. The U-bolts thread through the bracket that attaches to the awning, and the adaptors slide on to the U-bolts from below and are secured by the washers and nuts. On a round Yakima bar, you first place the awning on the bars without the adaptor connected (two pictures, one from side and one from back), and then slide on and secure the adaptor, as shown. Once you've done that for both bars, you have your awning attached and ready for use. Rhino Rack Left Hand Driver's Side Foxwing Awning
