I've put together enough of these things that the directions not being as detailed as most didn't really affect anything. Pay attention to the location and way holes should face and definitely don't tighten anything until the last step aside from the drawer portion and cabinet. That part should stay square and help to square the rest. It is very sturdy so far and looks to have a lot of room. I have a large laser printer that I don't know and don't think will fit in the "printer" portion of the desk. I could maybe get some long bolts and install spacers to give me the height I need but I have the whole right side to use as well. I have a vesa mounted 32" monitor, and it fits perfectly. Happy so far.

So this is a really nice desk! I was eyeing this exact same desk on another website but they had it for $100 more! I’m glad I found it on Amazon and here’s the greatest advice I can give on this product for future buyers…DO NOT TIGHTEN THE SCREWS!!! The instructions are not like IKEA instructions where every hole is depicted perfectly and the instructions are easy to follow.These instructions were definitely not made by the Swedes - but rather by some incompetent wannabe engineer who decided that details don’t matter!But if you have a good sense of where things go and how every hole has a future purpose and put it together lightly first, then tighten everything at the end when you know it’s right, then you’ll really enjoy this desk as I do. It is spacious, sturdy, and if put together correctly, built very well!Hope this review helps a future buyer avoid time consuming mistakes.

Outstanding desk, very sturdy with lots of usable space. Clear instructions with 1 extra piece of hardware for each piece needed. Be methodical when assembling. Works unbelievable well for my application

This is really a great desk! Assembly was a little difficult as the instructions are a little confusing but it is a great solid desk. Perfect for working from home.

It's a beautiful desk, would be better if I could finish it! I recieved 2 #6 parts and was missing the #5 so I can't finish the drawer. Sent a message to seller through Amazon. If they respond and send the missing part I'll change the rating!**update**Quick response from seller. They are to send replacement for missing part. The directions are awful, but the desk is great.

I have described this as my “Dream Desk” as an online high school teacher. There is plenty of room for my stuff, and it fits perfectly in the corner of my guest room/home office! I did receive damaged countertops, but I expected that after reading some reviews. It did not effect the building process. Still my dream desk!
