Have startled several neighbors with its lifelikeness. I was originally disappointed with the size and how light it was. With it being so light the head spins and moves with the slightest breeze. Also the size being small actually could resemble a youth alligator. Needed to drill a hole, place a screw in it and glue in place. Has worked well and have scared the geese for 6 weeks until they became used to it and have come back. Still fun to startle the neighbors tho.

I use this decoy un the swim platform attached to my boat, The ducks would use it as a sleeping roost, leaving poop allover, of course not a good thing for people or wooden platforms. In 4 weeks use my boat has been free form any duck invasion.

Ducks go in the pool and push the alligator head aside. Other times the head floats to the side of the pool, so it needs a weight if in a pool.

Worked great for getting rid of the duck issue but after only being in the pool for a month the paint is peeling off.

Small but very cool.

Not worth the money for the size

Seems to keep the birds from knocking the mulch into the pond!!!! Plus it pretty good in the pond. Don't want the real thing!
