Für Asnchluß von VHS-Recodern an die meisten
Die Gerätebezeichnung liest sich wie ein Nachfolger des VID2DHCON vom selben Hersteller, das leider nicht mehr produziert wird. Offenbar war das aber das besser geeignete Gerät. Das Problem: die meisten analogen Quellen, die FBAS oder S-Video verwenden, kommen noch aus der Zeit, wo 4:3 das Standardformat war. Leider zieht das VID2HDCON2 alle diese Quellen IMMER auf 16:9 breit und überlässt es dem Ziel, eventuell noch ein 4:3 Format daraus zu machen. Die meisten Fernseher jedoch "erkennen" 16:9 und machen dann entweder breitgezogene Bilder oder allenfalls Zoom mit abgeschnittener Ober- und Unterseite aus dem Bild. Damit ist das Gerät für mich unbrauchbar für seinen Haupteinsatzzweck - Anschluß eines VHS-Videorecorders an moderne Flachbildfernseher. Leider eigentlich eine glatte Fehlkontruktion - das Vorgängermodell hat das wohl besser gemacht. Schade!

Excellent picture quality for Dreamcast on 4K tv
Fantastic quality when playing a Sega Dreamcast on an LG 4K tv via HDMI. Picture quality is excellent and much better than I expected. I have only just started using the unit, so can’t comment on reliability, but for ease of use and quality is excellent.

Fait exactement ce qu'il promet!
Petit équipement bien fini et livré très rapidement. Pour ma part je l'utilise pour recopier d'anciens formats vidéo sur un enregistreur HDMI. Cela fonctionne parfaitement, à recommander.
