Q: I have an older hot rod deville, would this work?

not sure when my Hotrod Deville was made but i bought it used at a pawn shop in about 2001 ( so i imagine its a bit older than that ) it works fine on mine- also i bought this under advisement from a reputable amp repair shop here in atlanta that was doing some work on mine- he just told me what to get from amazon and it works great!

It should control the channel selection. However, the labeling may be different.

No it will not. You have to get one specific to a champ
