Does this one make the high pitch piercing sound thr Revlon one does?

Mine makes a piercing sound on the high and cool settings. It goes from a normal blow dryer sound and fluctuates to the piercing noise. Hurt my ears. Hoping it is just defective and to get a new one with no issues.

It does not spin. You have to physically turn the entire brush. The cord swivels so it doesn't tangle or coil when you turn the brush.
