Tough 1 Neoprene Lined 12-Ring Nylon Surcingle

This is really an upgrade to the first one I bought many years ago!! This is well made and I like the elastic adjustment on the girth!! I with they had Heated(melted) the buckle hole so they didn’t fray when buckled but I’ll do that with a hot nail. It fits my blocky quarter horse good. This is extremely durable and high quality for the price!!

I've been using this surcingle for a couple of months with my big-bodied TB and it's worked great. Its high quality and easy to use. If you have a larger horse, it's probably worth double checking the measurements and I use this on the absolute longest holes on both sides and it only just fits round my horse. The rings are great quality. I've used this extensively with long reining, elastic neck stretchers, and all kinds of training aids and it has been perfect every time. I particularly love the brown color.

This is nicely made for the price and functional: however, if you have a wide-girthed horse, it might be too small. My horse is 16h and not overly wide in the girth (don’t have his exact measurement), and this fits him on the next to last buckle holes.

I have used this product for a few years now not just for ground driving but also for side reins and still no wear or tear in sight. It fits all my small arabs but also has plenty of room for bigger horses too. Ive used it with and without a pad and Ive never had it run a horse or any issues. I also love that theres several different ring locations to work on different angles.

I was impressed with the quality for the price!!!! Hardware is sturdy. Extra reinforcement where buckles attach to girth. STAYS IN PLACE! My mare is sensitive to anything that's uncomfortable for her, but she took to this well enough to where we were actually able to get to work with it after only 15 minutes of her accepting it. I'm more than 100% pleased with this surcingle!

Definitely runs small but it works and for the price I got it for I can’t beat it. Only giving it three stars because of the sizing.

I'm very pleased with this surcingle. It is perfect for my needs and fits comfortably on my mare. I dont know if the model has changed since some of the reviews, but I'm glad I didnt listen to those suggesting it was very small. My mare is 15.5 hands and while not a huge QH , she is far from petite and still has a few notches on both sides to enlarge. I think most everyone would say quality is quite good.

This surcingle was listed as cob size but wouldn’t even fit around a small Arabian. Totally unusable and will be returned. ‘Cob’ size fits a 14 to 15.5 hand stocky built horse. The surcingle I received would be about right for a 12 hand pony.

Contrary to what many people have said about it running small, it doesn’t. Two completely different sized horses and fits them perfectly. The first mare is a 16hh slim horse and the paint is a thick 15.1hh horse. Many more holes too! What I dislike: it does not have very good wither clearance. It doesn’t put a lot of pressure but I do believe it could be fixed with a western saddle pad.
