Easily learned
I turn pens as a hobby,using stabilized wood, acrylic and resin . Very easy to sharpen and stays sharp. Highly recommended!!

Easy to use
As a newcomer to wood turning I bought this as it seemed like an easy start for me. I am impressed with it immensely, I have only used it once so far but it was very nice to use.

Ok tool, small cutter. Not quite as rugged as I had hoped.

Good product
Really does hold up to the hipe. If you have been using regular gouges it takes a little getting used to how to hold it but works great when you get the hang of it. I like the fact that it has flat spots both on the back and I am guessing at 45 degrees where most don't. Most, even the expensive ones are either round or square. In order to cut with the corner, the tool needs to be at an angle. If you use it on the flat back it is a scraper. This tool having the correct angle on the sides makes it easier to learn and use. Don't let the price fool you, it uses the same carbide bit that the expensive ones do so why waste the money. I am not sure about other bits but it will take the Easy Wood Ci-R2
