Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Couldn’t find LED garage bulbs that was bright and still fit in the plastic casing so then I saw this idea on YouTube. I had an extra LED ceiling light that I wasn’t using so I attached it to this and it works great! The gooseneck is thin enough to just be stick out a bit through the casing and strong enough not to lose the shape you bend it into.

Product was not defective it worked from an electrical stand point. I was not completely satisfied with the rigidity of the flexible extension. For my purpose this flex needed to be more rigid so it would hold it's position better when you repositioned it.

Turned the garage into an operating room. Replaced useless garage door opener lights with these.Not to sure about longevity. I think I had to reposition once already, as one side seemed to lose its tension, but it’s a minor detail.

Using three of these in my bathroom with LED bulbs - two in a very old and outdated cabinet that I intend to paint and give a fresh new look, and the other in wall fixture. Love that I can bend them to point in the direction I prefer. The fourth one, I've not yet decided. Would be nice in my walk in closet, or would also be nice in the little entry hallway - and again, being able to point it in the direction where I'm needing light is a big bonus. There is also that having switched to all LED bulbs, and those bulbs are best not used in covered fixtures, these are attractive enough that not having covers doesn't concern me at all. Before I'm finished with my revamp, may even end up buying more of these.

Screwed these in and they popped out along with the wires. I soldered them back together myself because I don't need anything fancy and didn't want to deal with shipping them back. The wires are soldered into a screw that did not stay. I had to file the screw down to the metal so that I could solder it to the screw.When I snapped it back on I had to use epoxy so that it wouldn't pop out.I would pay a couple more bucks if they used better material.

Sometimes, lamps and built-in light sockets don't put the bulbs where I want the light. This handy gooseneck extender does the trick. I didn't see a UL rating on this gadget, but it appears to be safe and sturdily made - I wouldn't use it for bulbs bigger than 60 watts, but it would work well with any LED or CFL bulb and provide all the light you need. The gooseneck is a little stiff, so I gather it's meant to be bent into one position and left that way. It will bend a full 180 degrees in any direction. I wouldn't try to bend it further or make a loop. Good product, and the price seems reasonable.

Apparently LED bulbs can really interfere with your garage door openers, and we were unable to use our remotes to open the doors. I used these to move the LED bulbs further from the garage door motors and now all of our door remotes work fine. They seem to be good quality and work great for my application.

Allowed installation of three panel, super bright light into Lift Master garage door opener. The fixture was too close to the Lift Master housing box but with extender there is plenty of space and the light shines up reflecting off the ceiling providing significant light without blinding me. Allows the installation to work very well in a location that would not work without the extender. Problem solved.
