Do both of these sockets have the same size inch drive ( 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2” ) or does the smaller socket have a smaller inch drive ?

Dear customer, thanks for your inquiry. The samll drill adaptor is 3/8 inch. The big drill adaptor is 1/2 inch. Please kindly check the detail specifications on the listing page via the second and third picture. As a responsible seller, URGENEX always insists customer first and offers one year warranty. If you have any question, please don't heistate to contact us. Our customer service team will always be here to serve for you. Hoping your order.

How deep do the pins actually go? Some say “not deep enough” other say 1/2 inch deep and another said 1 1/2 inch deep, what is it really?

The one I have 11mm to 32mm has a depth of 5/8" and the 7mm to 19mm only has 5/6" Using a round file 3/6" to push the pin to bottom for the depth .

Is this good for plastic vial caps?

Worked very well on nuts, but unsure about anything plastic. If plastic is robust, should be no problem.
