Seal Line Urban Shoulder Bag (Large, Blue)

I wanted this bag, I really did. I looked at it on the manufacturer's website, and I had it on my Wish List for a year. I'm ready for a new laptop/messenger bag and this did NOT fit the bill. First, the only padding in the bag is on the back where it rests against your body. That's it. Its like carrying a giant raincoat. Second, and the major deal breaker for me, is only ONE of the five inside pockets has a zipper. They don't close. The one pocket that does have a zipper is a mesh pocket! This means if you need to open the bag in less than ideal conditions (say, to grab your umbrella or raincoat) everything is exposed to the elements. It also means if you carry anything personal in your bag (toiletries, for example) anyone can see them when you open the bag to grab your laptop or documents. Also, if the bag falls over or if you try to cinch it tightly (almost vertical for bike riding) everything in the pockets falls out into the main body of the bag. Lastly, the manufacturer site and the product description (Presumably cut and pasted from their site) claims "Water Tight roll top closure." So I was expecting a roll top closure under the main flap, like the Sealline Urban Backpack, or the Overboard Messenger bag. Wrong. There is no roll top closure, just the main flap. Unless Sealline considers the main flap a roll top closure. I expected so much more from a $150 bag. I sent it back to Amazon immediately.
