I'm not sure if they are BPA free,but I would not recommend. Mine are still in a box because they are extremely difficult to open. Once you have fluid in them you are going to wear it trying to open these back up.

Michaels acrylic paint, it’s best to do one thin coat, let it dry(it dries really fast) and then apply the rest

Amazon deal with the returns, please contact them directly for policies - As for opening and closing the lids, it is very simple, you just squeeze the mid section very slightly and the lids pop off - Please read the product description as this is stated quite clearly, it really is quite simple. Q: Can it be use for drinks

The tiki cups are made of solid plastic, so yes, they are meant for drinking. You couldn't use it as a drink shaker though, as there is a hole in the top for a straw.
