Lenovo Thinkpad X260 Laptop Intel Core i5 2.40 GHz 8GB Ram 256GB SSD Windows 10 Pro (Renewed)

I bought the first one for my GMRS repeater’s CW ID Beacon, which goes on every 10 mins — 24/7.Both of my GMRS repeaters are on 24/7; hence, this Lenovo laptop, which I just purchased, is also on 24/7 and is connected to a handheld transceiver, programmed to my GMRS repeater’s UHF frequencies, which is also on 24/7.The transceiver gets the CW code from the Lenovo laptop, via a software application, and the Lenovo laptop sends the CW code to the transceiver, via a pair of cables from the Lenovo sound card, to the transceiver’s mic and speaker inputs.The transceiver then transmits the CW code to the GMRS repeater, via UHF RF, and the GMRS repeater picks up the CW code from the transceiver connected to the Lenovo laptop, and the GMRS repeater transmits the CW code to all GMRS operators using my GMRS repeaters.Since this Lenovo laptop was the Guinea Pig and passed the test of being full duty cycle, I purchased a second Lenovo laptop for my second GMRS repeater for replication of the first GMRS repeater’s CW-code set-up.I don’t need an expensive laptop to execute these simple commands; hence, these refurbished Lenovo small laptops work great for my specific auxiliary communications’ purposes.Check 6!/s/ Alfonso Faustino

Work well so far

I've learned more about this specific computer than all the other computers I've owned in 20 years. It won't connect to my family group. It simply refuses. It won't connect to some wireless internet but connects fine to others. It downloads but won't properly play games that it should have no problems running. The internet was just a screen with code...that was not fun learning to fix. I've had to fix so many issues on it I just about feel I should have been paid to take it. I'm really thinking about returning it...issues keep coming up the more I work with it, and I have to spend hours learning to fix them every time they come up. Battery life is nonexistent. If it isn't plugged in, it isn't running.

Timed the battery. I got 6 hours on a used laptop battery. I think that's pretty good for a i7 processor. The screen is 11" by 6". The SSD is 260 GB. Replacing it with larger SSD is an option as SSD's are cheap. Lenovo's are famous for supporting the Linux operating system and I plan to dump the Win 10 system for Linux mint.I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It arrived 2 days early and the laptop is in great condition.

The laptop I received was functionally good, however judging from the other reviews and what I received as well it appears you will get an X260 as described but as the laptops when first specced out by Lenovo they were not all the same.The one I received had a 1920x1080 resolution rather than a 1366x768.It also had its internal battery either removed or it was not originally ordered with one.The SSD was replaced with some Chinese SSD of the described size.The inside of it also appeared to have some random wires and components scotch taped together.The external battery pack supplied with it was also a generic Chinese battery rather than OEM.The “refurbishing” also appeared to consist of covering worn plastics, case, trackpad and buttons with large black stickers rather than replacing the plastics themselves. I removed the stickers to reveal lightly worn original components beneath them.Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and glad to have received one with a higher resolution screen than advertised. The laptop itself appears to be functionally sound.TLDR; You’ll get a Lenovo X260 as ordered but they’re not all specced the same and there’s likely gonna be some inferior (not OEM) replacement parts.

Have had it a few months now, great battery life fast enough for my needs runs windows office programs just fine.

The media could not be loaded. It's physically in great condition. It works pretty well. Everything is as you would expect except for a few details. The laptop I added to my cart had 8gb of ram on it. This computer has 4gb of ram. I can appreciate that the processor is an i5 6300u, an upgrade from the listed i5 6200u. Send me a 8gb ram stick, you will get 5 stars. I'm technically just fine putting it in myself. Like I said. I like it. But it's not as advertised. Everyone should know what they are getting. If given the choice I may have gone for an upgrade over less. So be advised that you should check everything on your laptop if you buy from here.Update. Not only did I have to replace the ram the battery was bulged as you can see in the attached media. So I had to get a battery to. So. Just don't buy here. You can get a better deal with better truthfulness on ebay. Lol

This Laptop is the perfect size.. Super Clean. Exevrything worked 100% out of the box.

A bit disappointed with this laptop. It turns off if I unplug it or carry it to change its location. Recently it started turning off while I am in the middle of work. I would be typing something and it would just shut down. The battery would show that it is at 97% then suddenly goes down to 0%. There is a problem with this laptop. I must keep it plugged at all times which is not practical at all. Very frustrating.
