Q: are the software trial version for 30 days only?

They are the full versions of the included softwares and plugins. You will need to create individual accounts for each software brand in order to register and activate their product keys. In sone cases an iLok account is require. The guides will walk you through. Be sure to check system requirements while reading and following all installation instructions.

Not in my experience, but you can get one anywhere.

I use a thunderbolt cable to hook to my pc, I really don’t have a way to measure latency. I use this as a mic preamp and have not noticed any delays.
