They're very easy to install and require only a 7/16 wrench. Absolutely no holes and no extra bolts are required during installation. Simply bolt the kit on and go! Team MRT engineered and manufactures the MRT Hood Strut Kit for 1979-1993 Mustangs in the United States. We designed these Hood Struts to work with the factory hood. If you have an aftermarket hood, our tech team may be able to assist you in the adjustment process or provide you with a higher or lower pressure gas strut. Struts in the kit are finished in black.
