Not just a perfect place to store small items but also a one of a kind, unique piece of art. Is it food safe? Yes, but not recommended for wet goods (don't let your fruit rot it will cause problems). Not intended for liquids. Each item is handmade and made in Los Angeles, USA. Every work of art is different and highlights the natural wood. Worm holes, stress cracks, knots and bark inclusions are all considered an integral part of the individual aesthetic, these are not avoided but appreciated. Made from ash, the colors and figuring in the wood are all natural. This bowl is sure to be a fantastic addition to any room. The bowl is finished with a varnish coat and buffed to a shine with carnauba wax to provide long lasting protection.
