I had to get a replacement because there was a manufacture error, but they got a new one out super fast. The material is high grade awesomely sturdy material. My soon-to-be husband is on the heavier side and so I wanted to get us a better bed so that he didn't have to worry. This frame is perfect. It can even handle all of us on the bed, plus the kids trying to parkour. It is absolutely worth every penny and I will continue to recommend it to everyone looking for a bed frame that is easy to put together and that is going to last a lifetime.

PROS - Height is fine, very sturdy. Directions are a bit of a challenge but better than IKEA.CON - There's nothing on the top of the frame or slats to keep the mattress in place, so any slight nudge and the mattress moves/slides around. But I've got a work around. I taped pipe insulation around the edges of the frame, this keeps the mattress in place. I taped the excess pipe insulation around the legs to protect against stubbed toes.

I have kept my bed on the floor as I have waited to find a bed frame that did not have huge gaps in the bottom support and could handle extra weight. I wanted a simple frame without a head board that was also not ugly in appearance.I was very happy to find this frame and intend to update my review once I have used the bed for a few months.

I’m 5 ft 5 in and I told my husband I need a step stool to get into bed Bc between this platform and our 14 in thick mattress (no box springs) I’m literally too short to spring into bed. He thought it was so funny. Otherwise assembly had some trial and error, some screw ins were off causing me to rig the frame a little but made it work!

My son is 6'4" and 300 lbs. I got the XL and his feet fit all the way on the frame/mattress. The only down side - the directions are terrible! Plan on reading, re-reading and reading again than just figure it out on your own by trying to make sense of the pictures. I have found this to be an issue with just about anything I buy that has to be put together. Plenty of screws and tools necessary though a bit confusing cause you wonder, did I leave something out? But the extra screws are nice I guess. Wish they had said their would be extras. All in all - great product once together.

After spending 45 minutes moving my existing frame and box spring out of my room breaking my old box spring in the process... And another 45 minutes assembling this piece of junk I got the joy of discovering that it's not a California king my bed does not fit on it so now I suppose I'm to sleep on the freaking floor until I find another frame. Do not waste your time or your money on this crap!

Im so happy i found an awesome sturdy bed frame. Them are better than heavey duty hospital beds. I can say it cuz my boys broke them bed in the middle due to their weight. So when i saw this product i got it n tested it out i was happy n so was he so i had to buy a 2nd one. Much easier to assemble light to move more sturdy n durable n has the reinforcement needed in the middle for their weight. Not to mention the price was inexpensive. I always say that if the product can with stand my demolition boys then its a great product which means better for my pocket expense 😻😻😻👍👍
