I have not religiously used any brand of astringent until now. Was having a problem with pores and acne all of a sudden. Decided to give it a go. So first, be prepared for a very strong smell, not unlike the smell of vicks. And a tingling sensation after you apply it initially, which leaves you feeling fresh a few minutes later. I am not sire how effectively it has tackled the pores. But the acne is gone within a week of use! This may make the skin a bit oily after a while but it works well for me since i have dry skin, actually gives it a healthy glow. Definitely worth giving a chance to. And well priced.

I have bought this astringent earlier from Zephyr online..which was actually having a good minty cool feeling and strong scent which was very fresh and long lasting.But this time i bought from cloudtail, which lacks that cool feel(Hope this is not an intentional modification by the company). So now it looks the same but the effect and fragrance appears diluted. Not sure why this happened. Product dates and all are satisfactory. Again in the packaging,the cap was slightly loose like it was about to spill.

This product has brought laurels to my life. Believe me, my skin changed and I hardly have any open pores now. Also it helped me to avoid pimples due to oily skin.

This astringent is green in colour and stinky as hell. Moreover I noticed that smell stayed on for quite sometime, which is not good. Does not take off dirt off your skin that effectively. It burned around my nostrils and the apples of my cheek, so I don't know if it'll suit sensitive skin.Alternatively I would suggest the astringent by Ayur, it does a phenomenal cleaning job and does not reek.
