Great Blades
I'm a new sewist, who decided to learn by getting a book and teaching myself. Before I dived into it though, I did a lot of research (probably too much, lol) on what were the best tools a sewist should have in their kit. When it came to cutting patterns, between the options of using pins and scissors, or pattern weights and a rotary cutter, the rotary cutter seemed more intuitive to me, so that's what I chose. When I got the cutter and a mat, and went to cut out my first pattern, the use of the cutter was easier for me than using scissors, but I had to bear down so hard on the cutter to get it to cut through fabric, that it just wasn't worth the trouble. It was a brand new cutter, with a fresh blade, so I assumed this was just how working with a rotary cutter was. I switched to using scissors, but still felt the rotary cutter would be the better option if only it actually cut.All of that backstory is to say, I decided to order a fresh pack of replacement blades for my cutter (the Martelli kind), and give it one more shot. I again did more research than I probably needed to, and these blades had the highest average rating, so I crossed by fingers and ordered (not at a discount, and with my own funds), and can happily report they work great. I've cut through several layers of fabric at once with ease, and cutting out patterns is now as (relatively) easy as I once hoped it would be.

Very happy so far
Very good product for the price. I don't do a ton of rotary cutting, so can't say they will hold up. But I had an original name brand one that was extremely dull. The first one is, of course, much sharper than my old one. Time will tell if it remains sharp over time. Like being able to buy a multi pack for a reasonable price.

Not the Bargain I Thought it Was
The first one that I put in worked great, but as I used it, it was getting duller and duller. Now, it cuts but misses some spots and I have to use scissors to cut the missed parts which is annoying. I will try another blade but am worried that this wasn't the bargain that I thought it would be. I did put in another blade and that is even worse. Unfortunately, the time to return has passed and I am stuck with these blades. I ordered name brand blades today in the hope that they will work better. I guess the glass 1/2 full would be that I'm getting muscles in my cutting arm from having to push the blade so hard!

DO NOT USE ON GINGHER CUTTER!!!!
The blades are actually good. They just don't work with the cutter I bought them for. I bought these hoping the would work with my Gingher cutter. They do fit but there is WAY too much slop on the blade on the mounting post as the center hole is too large. The slop in the blade on the shaft will eventually ruin your expensive Gingher cutter if you insist on using them. Pity because a single replacement blade for the Gingher is around $8. For this reason I am retiring my Gingher and using a Fiskars model so I can get replacement blades at a reasonable price.Gingher should redesign their cutter to use universal blades.UPDATE 1/6/17: I tried an original Fiskars blade on my Gingher and it fits MUCH better. The center hole on these is without question slightly larger than an original Fiskars blade.

Unfortunately, I have found that the majority of the blades are imperfect. I have only come across one that will cut all the way through. The other 4 have imperfections in the blade that does not cut through the fabric in some areas. I have to go behind it with scissors.

Not necessarily universal.
They are pretty sharp but there are little notches in the center of the blade, I'm using it in a fiskars brand rotary handle and there aren't any bump outs to match the blade, so when cutting I can feel when the blade is shifting against the notches and doesn't give a perfectly straight cut. Not a big deal, for the price I don't mind working around the non-straight cuts, however it shouldn't be advertised that it's universal and will work with fiskars. I will add a photo of what I'm talking about later on.

Maybe even better than Fiskars!
These are great! I use my rotary cutter almost daily on a variety of fabrics, vinyl, and paper. The Fiskars refills are expensive and I needed a more affordable alternative. These blades are every bit as sharp and work flawlessly, gliding through every job like a hot knife through butter. I also like that they come in a handy little compact-style container, for safe storage in my cutting tools organizer. The only down side is that they're stacked in the container, with some sort of oil coating. The coating makes it difficult to separate the blades because it makes them stick together and slippery.I'll definitely be buying these from now on.

Tamper and Twine 45mm Steel Rotary Cutter Blades (5 pk)
Item arrived on time. These blades are perfect for my Fiskars and Olfa 45mm rotary cutters. They are very sharp! I have not used them a lot yet, but so far they seem great. I'll be buying more of these blades to keep in my stock pile. Great value, great product!
