Beautiful components, simple game, abrupt end
Space Park is a wonderfully produced game. Top quality components and beautiful art. The game is fast and smooth and very easy to learn. If you know how to play games like Century Spice Road you will catch on quickly. The cards, the gems, and pieces of the game board are excellent quality, this is a well produced game that gets noticed. People will notice this game. Bottom line is the game is a quick filler, lasting about 20-30 minutes. This is a good game for in between bigger games, lunch time, for a quick game, or for a game night where you are staying away from longer games. This is not some deep 2-3 hour Euro, it is a simple, fast, fun game. My only real issue is the ending seems a bit anti-climatic. The end comes quick and in my opinion the game just kinda ends. Other than that, a nice little game. I like games like this that I can play with my son to get him off the computer for a few minutes. If I haven't said it enough, the art on this game is out of this world.

Beautiful artwork, light strategy
Overview: A simple game with a space exploration theme. Explore the 7 available locations to perform the given action and earn badges for exploration points. The end of game is triggered when someone reaches 20 points, and the person with the most points at the end is the winner. Each game can possibly be played in 30 minutes or less.Set-Up: Easy set-up that takes only a few minutes to lay out the 7 location tiles and place the rockets, cards, crystals, and other game tokens in their respective locations.Difficulty: The game is easy to learn with a short instruction booklet. Just learn what actions can be taken at each location tile and you'll be in good shape.Aesthetics & Components: The artwork is beautiful with vibrant colors. The cardboard components have a nice medium thickness. The 3 rocket ships are a hefty and sturdy plastic, and are nice to move around the board.Replayability: The badge deck is a little light imo. I would have liked to have more cards to play through as they begin to feel repetitive after a few game plays. The modular board does add some variability since you lay out the location tiles randomly.Final Thoughts: Good easy game to learn with some light strategy and beautiful artwork. This is easy to get to the table if you just want a quick game to play. There can be a little bit of player interaction, especially if you try to block players from visiting certain locations. An expansion with more badges and more location tiles would be great for replayability. 7.5/10

A beutiful game of rockets, crystals, and explorer badges!
This is a fun, easy to set-up and explain game for any age! The art is beautiful, the components are cool, and the instructions are easy to teach and understand. It's also relatively short as well, allowing multiple plays! The few cons I have are that "Scout" (a robot companion you can obtain in the game) sticks out, and not in a good way. When your board has cool resin built rockets and pretty lifelike crystals, having a cardboard robot standee looks weird. Also, the rules on how to control needs some explanation.Aside from these nitpicks, this is an excellent game for your gaming group or family! Now hurry! Those space explorer badges aren't going to earn themselves you know!
