so far the pomade has been good. the smell has been quite nice and the hold is pretty decent. i've never used pomade before so i wasn't sure what to expect in terms of hold. there's quite a bit of movement to the hair but it mostly holds in place. what's nice is that you can run your fingers through it throughout the day and it definitely restyles itself. i must have tried 3-4 gels from walmart looking to get something that had a super strong hold without hairspray and this pomade is way better. it DOES have movement though so if you want something that just never moves then you may need to look elsewhere. also washes out quite easily, no greasy feeling after a shower with water only, no shampoo.

Product was delivered badly damaged, come on.... The product itself works great with damp hair and a blow out.

The pomade inside is a solid white wax. Using it is straightforward. Scoop a little out, warm it up in your hands, and apply. It goes in smoothly, no tugging or pulling. And the hold! My hair immediately stood to attention. It was like I'd built a tiny, flexible skyscraper on my head. It stayed exactly where I put it, defying gravity and the occasional gust of wind. This stuff is not messing around. The "Matte" finish is perfect – no greasy shine, just a natural look that says, "Yes, my hair is perfectly styled, and no, I didn't use half a can of product." It looks effortless, even though I know the Reuzel is working hard behind the scenes, acting as the silent architect of my hairstyle. And the scent! It's described as a subtle sweet rum fragrance, and it's delightful. Not overpowering, just a hint of something pleasant that makes you feel slightly more dapper. It washes out easily with just water, which is a huge bonus – no wrestling with stubborn product residue in the shower. If your hair has a mind of its own, if you need a hold that can withstand a minor hurricane, and you appreciate a matte finish that looks natural, this pomade is fantastic. It's well-made, incredibly effective, and has given my hair a level of structural integrity I didn't think was possible. My hair is behaving, smells great, and I'm thoroughly impressed with this extreme hold hero.
