Why are these not fsa/hsa eligible?

This answer is from RhinoSystems, the manufacturer of Naväge Nasal Care.

I apologize for the confusion, and to be clear, Naväge Eucalyptus SaltPod 30-Packs (whether purchased individually or in a bundle) are coded as health care products, and they CAN be purchased with your Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account (FSA/HSA) credit card.

We're working with Amazon and our IT department to get all of our SaltPod Bundles listed in the "FSA or HSA Eligible products" category on Amazon. I'm not sure how long this process will take, so in the meantime you may have to purchase SaltPods and submit a claim with your FSA/HSA provider, but I hope to get the listings updated asap!

Great question! Yes, SaltPods have an expiration date on the SaltPod 30-Pack packaging either displayed on a sticker on the underside of the package, laser etched into the side of the package, or printed on the SaltPod bag itself.

Original Naväge SaltPods have a laboratory-validated shelf life of four years, and Eucalyptus SaltPods have a laboratory-validated shelf life of three years. The ingredients are extremely stable, and as a result, it's very likely that Naväge SaltPods have a longer shelf life than has been laboratory-validated.
