Outstanding for its purpose.
This certainly wasn’t made to produce broadcast videos or take studio quality photos, however it was made to replace several “strip” cams for Raspberry Pi and other SBC products because of their low quality images and it does that like a trooper. I have only modestly experimented with it up until now trying it first in my Raspberry Pi 400 keyboard because it was so easy to test. I then connected it to my CrowPi2 because that’s really what it’s made for and ran it through some drills. I’m very interested in additive manufacturing and design and print many dodads to combine with RPi, Arduino and other controllers including legos. So I replaced existing cameras with this one and ran it through the paces. It performed flawlessly and with superior images. My real purpose for buying one more camera was to add it to my new Creality Ender-3 S1 Pro that arrived last week (don’t know why, but I was one of the first in the USA to receive one) and I thought I’d make several videos demonstrating the new capabilities. It’s work terrific and I will be buy two or three more. I highly recommend it.

Great results for the price
I had the picam before and accidentally scratched the lens when trying to adjust the focal length. I decided to take a chance on this one because of the adjustable lens. This works just as well as the raspberry pi cam for my needs - close-up on small film frames. This worked with my Raspberry Pi 4 instantly, no issues, no firmware upgrades. Plug and play. The footprint of the circuit board is a bit bulky, but it's not an issue for my needs.

Good little camera for sub 20$
I have this on an old rpi 3 b+ taking motion capture and stills (pictures) every minute, outside my house and I like it a lot with the motioneyeOS installed, recorded on a Network share that another ras pi running my NAS. It makes for some pretty good time-lapse! Honestly pretty good quality for the price.

works great on raspberry pi 4
Works in applications for video surveillence and machine learning software (CV2) and tensorflow lite. Used diy software for person detection and position.

Good value!
Bought this for my octoprint set up with my 3D printer. I was surprised by how big the lense was on it but it works quite well. Using with a raspberry pi 4 and no issues yet. Small package and comes with a lense cover for protection from dust and scratches. Good buy and good value!
