About 300 exhales. We recommend cycling multiple filters in and out every few days which will allow each filter to rest and dry out. Moisture can hinder the filter life so by rotating multiple filters, you’ll get a longer filter life from each filter.

Can I use it to reduce cigarettes smoke in the house?

Yes. Definitely. Obviously the smoke leaving the cigarette won't be affected, but the smoke leaving your lungs is aroma free once through the filter.
