Arrived early. I love to do a 20 pound monofilament line. And we're fishing. After adjusting wait and break action on the reel I guess several times with no backlash. Call fish on my first cast. Actually I caught nine fish that day unfortunately they were all too small to keep but they were a lot of fun. I love this real

Lew’s products and customer service will never let you down!
I’m giving this product rating a 5 star even tho the pole came snapped in the box. NOT blaming Lew’s for something the delivery service did. The reel is butter smooth the rod is still cosmetically pleasing. Big shout out to Emily for responding so quickly to my concerns! Customer support and products are unmatched, but I will be ordering directly from their website or going to Bass pro shop from here on out ;)

MISSING PART
The rod came in good shape but the reel was missing from the box (was supposed to be a combo unit). The rod does not break down into smaller pieces so the box is extremely long and costs $80 shipping to return.
