I've used down comforters for years. I'm a cold sleeper and need the warmth and mass of a comforter to sleep well. My wife is a hot sleeper and usually pushed the down comforter off in the middle of the night and used a light blanket instead.I bought this because it was washable and hoped it could provide the warmth and comfort I like without overheating my wife.I have to say the first night with this comforter was the best night sleep either of us had in years. It's weighty and warm for me but not too hot for her. It isn't as puffy and thick as a nice down comforter but that's a plus for us.If you want a washable comforter but don't want an artificial down I highly recommend this.UPDATE******OK, I washed my comforter on the "wool" cycle and dried it on "extra low delicate" cycle and ended up with a lumpy and shrunk up unusable piece of trash. It went from "best ever" to "not good enough for the guest bed".DON'T WASH YOURS! Dry clean!New Update 3/11/14Sleep and Beyond replaced the comforter with a new, washable version. The new comforter feels different than the original but is just as great. I have washed it and had no problems. The feel improved and the comforter feels softer than when new. I recommend you double check the packaging to make sure you receive the washable version of this comforter.

Had this for more than a year and absolutely love it. With 150 GSM this is perfect for me and my girlfriend. Room temperature is around 70F in the winter and 74F in the summer. It's perfect for that temperature range. Under 69F I would say go get a 300 GSM sheep's wool comforter.My dryer has a steam option which is fantastic for freshening this thing up. I keep a percale cotton duvet cover from LLbean on this comforter. Together it makes for a heavenly experience. Very fluffy and breathable, yet so cozy. Makes it very hard to get out of bed.

I have an adult sized version of this comforter that I love. When my son was born, I knew just the brand to buy. So I bought the crib sized version and it was stiff as a board. I returned it and received an another stiff square. Unfortunately after giving it time to wear in, it’s still just as stiff. Maybe it’ll be a comfortable blanket for my kid’s kids in 30-40 year’s time, but if I were you, reading this review, I’d find another product and let me know what it is, since I’d like my son to have a chance at a comfortable night’s rest. Hopefully, they will update their process, because I still love my other comforter.

I had previously purchased the Sleep and Beyond four season Comforter and I loved it, great quality and temperature regulating. However, I have serious back issues that cause my feet serious pain in bed at night, so I have difficulty with any weight on my feet. The quality was so great that I invested in the My Comforter Light. It is perfect!!! Very light weight! Even though it's thin and light weight it still gives me the same temperature regulating that I need, I'm a hot sleeper. So I don't get hot nor cold, perfect temperature all night. So I would highly recommend both, but definitely the "light" if you can't take weight on your feet! So happy with it!!

The search to find this comforter was long and hard, after the dry cleaner ruined my other summer weight bed covering. I bought and returned five other lightweight comforters. Most of them claimed to keep you cool, and didn’t, or we’re just too bulky for hot summer nights. This comforter is perfect. It is lightweight and warm at the same time, but not so warm that I find myself waking up in the middle of the night to kick it off. I am a happy sleeper once again!

updated review:I find this comforter to be way too hot. Most nights I dont even cover my upper body because I get so hot with it. It is wayyyyyy to thick and warm. I really thought I was buying a light weight duvet for 4 season use. This is too hot for me in the winter. My girlfriend feels the same. I am looking for a replacement after a year of use.original review:I had heard about wool bedding and heard it is more breathable and moisture wicking and better for year round sleep. I have had down and synthetic duvets in the past and I gotta say I love this wool duvet! I seem to be just the right temperature all night. Lovely.MAJOR CONS: no corner ties for the duvet cover? HOW CAN YOU MAKE A DUVET WITHOUT DUVET TIES!!!???!!! The only reason I ordered this duvet over other was because it was wool. I do not like that it has no corner ties. One star removed for this.MINOR CON: Its about a medium weight duvet. I would love an option with a lighter weight and corner ties...

I just received the wool comforter, however nothing on its packaging says it is washable, except the label stuck right into the comforter. That's reassuring, but when I went to the website, it specifically says the comforter is NOT WASHABLE. I have no opinion yet about whether the comforter will be comfortable in other respects. It is fairly stiff and somewhat heavy. Still, the most important thing is can I wash it? I don't like duvet covers, because they are so hard to put on the comforter. I don't know, maybe I'll have to go back to using them. This is the 3rd washable wool comforter we have had. The first one shrunk to half of its size. The second one shrunk just enough as to be just too small, but usable. We're hoping the 3rd try is the charm or something. I'll raise the number of stars once I wash it.
