Easy setup. Almost ready to use out of the box
The unit came well packaged and complete. Solid construction. The instructions are missing the assembly instructions but all you really need to do are: 1) add the handle 2) bolt it to a sturdy surface. Note that the 4 bolts supplied to mount it aren't long enough for most laminate tables. The English instructions need improving but any native English speaker can figure it out. It could be mounted to a metal desk. My pictures show a temporary setup on an old style folding table. The bolts could have been another 1/2" (12mm) or so to make it a proper connection. Two allen wrenches were included but only the smaller one was useful.A spare cutting wheel was included, that was nice.Keep in mind you will need to re-adjust the cutting depth for different wire gauges and types. In my application I needed to strip the ends of these heavy gauge wires so used a second tool to do the right angle cut.Given the price and what you get I'd say 5-stars!

Works great with a little effort
First let me say that nothing will get you rich easily. This machine does work with a little bit of a learning curve, you’re not going to just watch it make money. A few pointers: first definitely wear safety glasses, as the tail of the wire comes out it may spring right towards your face. Second, take the time to cut pieces down to a manageable size, I spent a little time with some bolt cutters and made some smaller lengths. Also it helps greatly to try and bend the wire as straight as you can. I use the handle instead of the drill and it allows me to feed the wire(or pull) while cranking. Lastly it takes a few times to learn the tension on the cutter, you may adjust a few times on the same piece. All said this is safer than a razor knife and faster, temper your expectations and you will see results!!

Well worth investing some of those scrap dollars in!
Finally reinvested some of my scrap copper money and it was a good investment. Once you get the knack of adjusting the cutting blade depth and feeding the wire it straight it mows through your entire collection of electrician's gold. I usually strip between #8 & 500mcm building wire which required the stripper to be bolted down to a firm base preventing it from flipping forward. All in all, well worth your investment.

Great time saver
For light to medium work it may take a couple runs to get it set just right but then it's smooth stripping very pleased.

It is faster than doing it manually
I like the product. Certain types of wire don't feed well but that is not because of the product. I have problems determining if the wire has been clamped too tight or too loose when it won't feed. I think the base needs to be weighted to compensate for how top heavy this is. Having it mobile as opposed to bolted down would be far better.

Time saver!
We’ve been tripping over wire in the garage for over a year. This tool is fast and easy to use. I agree with others, the thicker the wire’s diameter the faster it goes. Glad I bought it!

Work horse!!
This thing is a work horse!! My wife ran it for 8.5 hours straight!! Works well, but we found with big gage where it helps to run it through twice and cut into 6 or 8 foot pieces. The only down side was with big wire you had to adjust it often to keep it cutting correctly. All done with a drill and worked great. Yet to try any smaller whire but think it would be very easy!!
