So if I wanted to test an old bottle of 35% I could dilute with 3+ parts water and then test right?

That is a great question. Our Time Sensitive Peroxide test strip can be used to confirm the strength of 35% food grade peroxide by mixing 1 part 35% peroxide solution with 2.5 parts water to yield a concentration of 10%. If the color change is not immediate, then the initial concentration was not 35% (or a mistake was made in the dilution). Try other dilutions to zero in on the actual strength, e.g. 1:6 should give you 5%; etc.

on portion/percentage of H2O2 in the liquid which is H2O2 + H2O; for instance, a 3 % H2O2 makes the stick turns purple in a longer time than say a 12% portion; each stick has a tip of 3mili-meter by 3 mili-meter which will turn eventually purple after a dip
