I chose these monitors after a good deal of market survey, and I believe they are the best value for money for this kind of budget. Rugged, simple, clear sound, and competitive pricing. Plus M-Audio is a trusted and established brand - I've worked with some of their products and found them to be tough and reliable. I ordered two of these, and I've been using them heavily ever since they arrived - no regrets! Strongly recommended for home recording musicians and audiophiles. Note: The metal back plate gets heated during operation. This heating is normal. The purpose of the metal back plate is for heat dissipation. Nothing to worry about as long as there is no distortion in sound quality.

I always liked the original sound without boosting low or high and M-Audio speaker is ideal for the purpose. It is very heavy for a home audio speaker, probably due to the transformers and the magnets used in the speaker and circuitry inside for the exact reproduction of original audio. Initially I ordered only one speaker since I was taking a chance in buying this comparatively expensive speaker. But now I feel that I could have bought two speakers together as the seller has stopped sending the item to my area may be due to some delivery problems. I would be ordering a second speaker next time the seller is ready to send it to my location.

It's been a while like around a month of me using them continuously for my studio purpose works they have been working fantastic and doing the job very nicely they got a turn off controls and all the cables you actually need to connect them to your computer. What I like this speakers that is you can turn up the highs and base knobs from the controls and it also offers you and aux input from the front side so you can connect your phone when ever you need and it also has a headphone jack so that you can easily connect and monitor the sound you are working on. The RCA auxiliary input actually doesn't works cleanly, cause it always produces static noise which is actually a bit annoying for me while working so, if you want to work nicely with it and don't want that static noise always coming from your speaker then you have to purchase and M audio sound card as well as the TRS input and output cable, then only they will not produce the static noise but it's a bit annoying that you have to purchase external sound card to prevent that static noise. Overall the review is very nice from my side cause these speakers work excellent for me and they also have a good frequency response all the they don't help much in the very Lowes and high but it's okay you can adjust at the at those frequencies.

First of all i brought this for production, but nit mix and master, only arrangement. but yea still i needed something good. I was on a tight budget, and after a lot of research i went for the bx4. i had heard a great review of the bx5. so i trusted m audio. and believe me, this is the best in this range. Great lows, mids everything. I mean in this price range, its the best. iam very happy i brought this

I have a pair of yamaha HS 5 studio monitors. I had to buy another pair for some reason. To save some money i bought this M-Audio studio monitors. But i had to reject them extremely poor and awful quality. Today i have posted an advertisement on olx to sell it. Don't buy it. Today i have bought another pair of HS 5. It's amazing.

For its price range, the sound quality is good, overall the sub sounds a bit muddy. Tweeters are good, vocals sounds clear and and instruments sound articulate. Backplate gets way too hot after 2 hours of use. Apparently this is normal and is the case with this monitor. Has a fair bit of stamina despite the heating issue but I'd imagine getting too hot may damage components over time.

Soy ingeniero y he comprado muchos monitores a lo largo de los años. Compré estos monitores porque estaban baratos para una estación para editar video. No esperaba mucho por el precio pero me sorprendieron por la calidad y la potencia. Obvio con un woofer de 5 pulgadas no se pueden esperar muchos graves pero aún así es mejor de lo que esperaba. Sí los recomiendo para alguien que está empezando o para un home studio de producción (no de mezcla o mastering).

Hello i have problem with 2 speakers not working and no sound i don't now why this hapen

An amazing sounding accurate sound scape, with a wide range and suitable low frequency reach for general referencing as a bedroom studio. They have a very nice smooth aesthetic, but also discreet enough to blend into my setup. The tweeters being pushed back in slightly is a welcome change to its previous model, for protection. Having to replace an aged set of BX5 D2, in comparison these have a slight edge of clarity to them, and a small power boost to boot, however this comes with the unfortunate increase in its noise floor. I use them as near field, however would be better suited as mid field, which would counter the noticeable noise floor when powered on and idle.
