Worked with my Liftmaster HBW0777
I'm providing too much detail in case it helps someone to determine if this is the right model for you garage door opener: This works with my Liftmaster Model HBW0777 that was installed in 1994. The remote control model number (on the back) was 61LM / 61LMC [HBW1D3505].To program it you have to remove 1 tiny screw and pop it apart. After you open it, there is a small paper tab you have to remove from the battery terminal to activate it (it has a red LED when you push the button so you can check that it is working). You program by moving the switches so they match the old (working) remote or the switches on the back of the opener. The switches have 3 positions: up, down, and middle and you must copy exact. The switches in the Firefly are smaller than the factory remove (you'll need your glasses if you wear them) and take a fair amount of force using the edge of your fingernail to move them (you will hear them click after you apply enough force). Pop the 2 halves together and then try opening the door before putting the little screw back in. If it doesn't work either you set the switches wrong, or the battery shifted out of position, or you bought the wrong unit. In my case, the remote was not shrink wrapped... it was in a small zip lock bag. So, if I needed to return it, it would not require repacking. The unit is small and light and has the same range as the OEM remote.

Pleasantly surprised
Having read the most recent reviews I was 50/50 on purchasing this remote. Having had them (I bought 2) for a few days, I will own up I am actually pleasantly surprised that they actually do work. the range is maybe 10 yards less than our old box one, which is negligible in day to day use.Setup was actually a breeze, with the main pain finding a screwdriver bit small enough to undo the cover so one could pull the plastic between the battery and the contact out. After that it was a quick hop up the step ladder, push the learn button on the main unit of the garage door opener, press the button on the remote. The little light on the remote flashed and lo and behold the garage door opened. Less than 30 seconds for each remote. Did a few test open and closes. Took longer to put the ladder away.I have only had these a few days now, so I cannot vouch for longevity. If I have any issues I will update this. Was well packaged and shipping was quick with Amazon Prime.

Works, but With One DIP Switch Different
I initially could not get it to work with the DIPs set the same as my other remotes. If I used the pushbutton on the back of my Craftsman opener to reset the code, this one worked, but my other ones did not. I read a review on this same remote under a different listing (linked) Sears Craftsman Garage Door Opener Mini Key Chain Remote ย that said the first DIP needed to be changed to make it work. So I tried that and it, and my other remotes all worked. My Craftsman manual says that the first DIP does not matter, which is the case with the Craftsman remotes (the visor-clip-mounted, three-button monsters) - they can be set to anything, but THIS remote had to have the first DIP set to "-" to get all my remotes (five total) to work at once. The range is a little less than my other remotes - This one opens the door from about 50 feet away, though I have a side-loading garage that may affect the range.

Sounded great, but it should be a lot better.
Its OK at best. I have to push and hold the button 5-7 tries before the door moves. Also seems to have a very specific range for it to work:18-22 feet away. Any closer, and it will not operate the opener. (i.e. sitting right under the opener when arriving at home. It has not worked once to close the door in three months-I'm using the wall switch). It works about as good as the old bulky original that I was trying to replace. I have both in the car and will try them alternating and hope the door will open when I get home. Price was good, but I'd have a hard time recommending it to a friend.

Small remote is good value, but low in transmission power and cheaply made.
This remote works, but only if you are very close to the garage door, as it has a very limited transmit range. It's a good value price-wise, and it's quite small, so it doesn't take up much room in the car, so that's good. The tiny screw for the battery compartment is poorly designed, as it is screwed directly into the soft plastic housing, so the screw keptworking its way loose to the point it no longer could be tightened. The seller sent us a replacement for free as a result. The design limits are the manufacturer's fault, not the seller's.

Great garage door opener I bought it for my motorcycle ...
Great garage door opener I bought it for my motorcycle has worked wonderful for almost a year without changing the battery. Now the reason this didn't get five stars I got caught in the rain, more like a monsoon. This is not waterproof, now it is malfunctioning opening at random times had to pull the battery will likely be buying a replacement.

It Works
Opened it up, flipped the dip switches to the proper sequence, and presto the door opened. My one issue is the battery is loose in the holder, seems to rattle a bit, might be a problem in the future. Right now works fine.
