Nice addition to my wood working tools
Perfect tool for hammering copper wire into wood. A good weight, quality head, good size for my projects ,handle is a good size for my hand.

I like the hammer but I'm still haven't found the perfect metalsmithing use for it. It has a tendency to leave marking on the metal. Needs dressing

Quality at an affordable price?
I like the Martin line of body hammers but just needed one for a few jobs. I’m not a professional, just a hobbiest, so I won’t be using this often . It looks to be well made and I’m sure it will suit my needs.

My number one body hammer
I bought this hammer to complete my hammer kit. It turned out to be my number one hammer. Flat head on one end and chisel tip on the other. It covers just about every job.

meh, handle feels bulky, head is clear-coated
This just doesn't show up in real life like it does in the pictures. The handle feels too beefy for the hammer. The head is coated in some sort of clear coat, probably to keep it from rusting, that you've got to sand off if you don't want to get it on whatever you're hammering. The sharp side of the hammer isn't really uniform or consistently radiused.

Purchsed to test for rust areas on a 49 year old car. Did the job and well made.

Just got this in the mail and it's surprising good quality. The wood is solid and better then the wood my gearwrench hammer set. Close to snap on quality wood. The hammer head is good aswell, it's a Lil heavy but good. For $30 compared to $120 from snap or Mac this is a damn good steal!
