What’s the rectangle on the back of these action figures for?

I do not see a rectangle , ours is just a figure, it does not make noise or anything.

We didn’t receive the first one that we ordered. I sent a request for a replacement but it says they want us to send the other one back?

We received our toy today but it’s head was separate. Can we put it back again or is it broken ?

My 2 1/2 year old grandson love this toy! He is rough with it and the head has never come off. I think it’s broken. I would contact Amazon. Don’t know if it goes back on but I would just return it.
