I absolutely love these I did read some of the reviews that said it turned the water cloudy so I was extra cautious before I added them into the tanks. We have two the smaller one is 5 gallons. I put about 5 to 6 balls, a few small and a couple of the large ones in the 10 gallon tank, I added about 6 to 10 more of the smaller ones than the large ones, the water in my 5 gallon tank is always crisp and clear and the water in the 10 gallon tank is usually a little bit more cloudy because there’s a couple more fish in that one but after dropping those in there took maybe about four days to notice the difference And the 10 gallon one is just as clear as the first tank. I think these were a great value.

Not sure how you would know if these are working. They are supposed to add mineral content to your tank. It is interesting to see that these balls can get moved around the tank, particularly at night when you are not observing. I think my Pleco or other larger catfish roll them around.

although I dont see my fish eating it I dont have a Betta it looks pretty in the tank and they maybe piking on it I just cant tell I got it because I had a seashell in the tank and the corys ate it so it made me think they needed some sort of mineral

But don't work non of my 3 tanks I have ever see shrimp on them or snails or fish .Buy only for the decor not what ot stands or ..

Not really sure what they do but I really like how they look in the tank.I don't know if it's me but my Betta's look brighter (?)They also like to lay on top of them for some reason.

Product shipped faster than stated which was great! Came exactly as described...had to rinse them off before adding to the tank but the shrimp were immediately attracted to them. Would buy again

Within days of putting these in my tank, my crawfish is on the verge of dying. Do not buy, it’s not worth it at all. Ironically, there’s no return or refunds allowed for this garbage. Had I not put 2 & 2 together and thought to pull the balls out, I would have lost him.Update: I’ve been doing daily 75% water changes to work through clearing up his tank of whatever toxins these things put out. He was improving daily, but still not back to himself. He was acting as though he was really struggling to molt (or drunk) and spent most of his time on his back lifeless. During one of the changes, I found 2 of the small balls buried in his sand. I took them out, did a 100% water change and now he’s improving and getting stronger day by day and is finally eating again. We still have a ways to go, but I think it’s safe to say he’s not on the brink of death anymore.I cannot express enough to not buy these, it’s been a rough week hoping to rehab him properly.
