The Game of Patterns

My 4yo daughter loves this book! She loves scouring the pages to find the differences and then quizzing me to see if I can find them. Good purchase.

I really love most all of Herve Tullet's books but this one was my least favorite. It didn't seem to spark much interest from the several kids that I shared it with. They said that it was boring.

I would have liked to have seen some simpler patterns building up to the more complex ones as my 3YO daughter doesn't really get it at first and loses interest quickly. I'll try reintroducing it when she is a little older.

Readind with your children is a great way to teach them concepts and have fun together. No matter how tired you or the child may be at night, snuggling with a book and giggling is a lovely way to end your day.

Get a note pad and some felt tips. Scribble in various colours. Have a go at drawing some objects. Show it to your child. There, you have just experienced sharing this book with your child. Save some money!
