Great tool
Great tool works perfect

Right for purpose
I needed to retap some poorly cut threads on a fabrication made in China. Poor workmanship. Work perfectly for that purpose at a good price.

Go slow, use cutting fluid.
Good quality. I’d never tapped a hole, but this did the job. It’s something I only used once, so I can’t speak to the durability of the tool.

I got screwed , blued and not tattooed
It works for my application. The basic set up works , but make sure your chuck screw is tight before proceeding with the cut.

Great value for home user or hobbyist on a budget. It does the job.
Get this if you are trying to fix something yourself - would I run these taps into a customer's engine block? No. But for home projects and low-risk repairs, it works great.

Frighteningly poor quality
It's really hard to convey how poorly made this tap and die set is. I use inexpensive tools all the time and I'm perfectly pleased with what I get for the money. This thing, however, is utter garbage. I wouldn't take it if it were free. The tap and die handles are very cheap and feel like they'll break at the slightest strain, very rough screws that feel like the threads are full of sand. Bargain bin tools from Harbor Freight feel like something from Mitoyo or Starrett compared to this crap. I'm guessing that the actual taps and dies will wear out with just a few minutes use, although I'm not going to give them a chance. This is being returned immediately.

Good starter set, not much of a storage unit
I would buy it again it got the job done.

works good.
I've only tapped one hole in brass so far so not much of a test yet. not impressed with the tap handle, so used a starret handle instead.
