Q: What size battery does the flashlight take and are they included?

The batteries are included and in the little plastic flashlights. I'm not sure if you can take the flashlight apart to get the battery out or if you just throw the flashlight away when the battery burns out. Looks like you can take it apart but not sure about getting it back together right.

Each one uses THREE LR44 (which are pretty cheap in bulk.)

Q: does the battery included?

Yes. But half of them were broken when they came. The rest broke after a few days. Cheap. Not worth it!

Q: What type of batteries does this use?

Each flashlight comes with a AA battery inside. They are not high quality but perfect for a kid's party bag and very affordable when you consider that they come with the battery.
